I have a strong need to memorise the Book of Allah. What is your opinion on the easiest way to memorise the Quran al-Kariim?
Answer:
The easiest way to memorise the Quran is to choose a suitable time for you (to memorise), such as after the Fajr (morning prayer), or at night. And during this time, memorise what is easy for you. Ask Allah for help in this, beg Him to help you memorise His book, and beware of sins. These are the paths that will lead you to memorise the Quran.

“Memorizing the Qur’an is among the best of deeds, because whoever memorizes it becomes a keeper of knowledge. For the Qur’an is the foundation of all knowledge, and memorizing it is considered an obligation upon the Ummah—meaning one of the communal obligations (Fard Kifāyah).
Therefore, those who have memorized the Qur’an are given precedence over others. One of them may lead in prayer even over someone older than him or someone of greater status than him. Likewise, he may undertake delivering the Friday sermon and preaching, engage in da‘wah, and take part in charitable works.
Therefore, children should strive to compete with one another in this, and they should be keen to memorize the Qur’an, or whatever portion of it they are able to memorize.”
