If the user is not present in the Sudo/Admin Group you'll get this error. But it's really scary af. 😂

You can find the files using the terminal with locate command

Example:

- If I want to find wallpaper.sh all I have to do is enter the below command in the terminal and press enter.

locate "wallpaper.sh"

This will return the filepath like this

/home/letsfoss/wallpaper.sh

You can view the Calendar from the Terminal itself.

Open the Terminal and type cal then press Enter.

This will show the calendar of the current month.

You can customize this by passing different argument

If you want to see calendar for 3 months, Give the command like this

cal -3

This will show calendar for 3 Months (Previous, This and Next Month)

You can use the tree command to visualize the folder structure

Tree commands accept different arguments

If you want to visualize only Directories you have to pass the command like this

tree -d

If you want to visualize the tree along with filesize just pass

tree -h

You can read more about this using man pages using the below command

man tree

You can check your Terminal command history using the below command

cat ~/.bash_history

You can easily find the previous command in terminal with the help of Reverse Search

All you have to do is Press Ctrl+R key when the terminal is open.

This will bring up bck-i-search: utility

Here you can start typing the command. It'll show the previously entered commands from the .bash_history file

You can go backward through alternative commands by pressing Ctrl + R repeatedly or If you want to go in forward, Press Ctrl + S key.
