Floyd Bennett Field migrant shelter in Brooklyn, New York.

Upon my arrival at the shelter, I observed several New York Police Department (NYPD) officers engaged in a conversation with the staff while displaying video footage. It appeared that the officers were conducting an investigation in search of a suspect.

Previous reports have indicated instances of migrant gangs exploiting other migrants at this location.

The migrant shelter has a capacity to accommodate up to 2,500 migrants, primarily consisting of families.

I'll try to dig for some more info on why the NYPD was over here .

#update. I found out why cops from the @NYPD63Pct were at the migrant shelter.
NYPD sources state .
