I stumbled upon a new migrant location at a church in Brooklyn, NY. Apparently, the church opens at 7 pm and closes at 7am .
Some migrants stated they just arrived in NYC today. While others stated they had been here for a few months.
Migrants would knock on a door , a security guard would answer and let them in . So I have spotted multiple groups arrive.

Apparently, there is some kinda of alleged toxin problem at the new Park Slope migrant shelter. I'm digging into it , but to me, it sounds like a case of xenophobia .
A majority of residents in that area and the city councilwoman have been very vocal about more migrants coming into NYC and have faught with the NYC Mayor Eric Adams anytime he tried to make cuts to the migrant crisis budget and trying to save the NYC taxpayers money.
I'm hearing that the toxins story is a story out of a Disney land book.
I'm digging in , stay tuned .

• When opening any site, DSS works to ensure that the site meets DOB/FDNY and other relevant local/State regulations, and the agency has inspection processes in place to ensure that sites meet our standards before opening.
• For this site, we received approval from the New York State oversight agency, the Office of Temporary and Disability (NYS OTDA,) which conducted inspection of shelter sites before opening as part of the standard process.

On the soil vapor intrusion test:
◦ The landlord of this site conducted a soil vapor intrusion test that our city agencies reviewed and found that the results do not indicate a current health risk to building occupants.
◦ We're also working with State DEC to schedule a soil vapor intrusion test at this site as part of non-mandatory testing efforts requesting access to hundreds of active residential buildings in this area.

" we are not in the business of approving or denying shelter sites. Some of my colleagues have joined Efforts to prevent shelters. From entering their neighborhoods , I will not be in that business "

They are believed to come from Texas, from Texas to NJ from NJ to NYC, then were placed in cabs and were taken to the Roosevelt Migrant intake center.
I have not seen this many migrants arrive in months.
NYC officials have been stated for over a year that the migrant crisis is unsustainable, and some have been calling for the federal government to secure our borders.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at approximately 0057 hours, a 59-year-old male victim was walking in front of 35-21 101 Street when five unknown individuals approached him. The individuals then surrounded the individual and forcibly removed his cellphone and his wallet which contained driver’s license and $20 in cash. The individuals then fled the location northbound on 101 Street on foot. There were no injuries reported in this incident.
