*There are several mistakes candidates make during examination that end up affecting their final results. During test or examination, any little mistake could either lead to the cancellation of the whole paper or it could lead to the deduction of marks*.

*Letโ€™s take a look at some common mistakes BECE candidates often make at the examination hall that needs to be avoid at all cost. Examiners Will surely pen them down if such mistakes are committed*.

1. *Not writing your name on the answer booklet and question paper*

*It is advisable to write your name on both papers, especially the answer booklet. Failure to do this could lead to grade F9 because WAEC wouldnโ€™t know the owner of such paper.*

2. *Solving the easiest questions last*

*It is not right to solve the easiest questions last. What if the time beat you. Candidates should always go through all the questions.* *Look for the easiest ones and solve them first. This will make you relaxed and help you boost your confidence for the difficult ones.*

(3). *Not Reading The Question Properly*

*Not reading the question properly could lead to examination failure. It could lead to giving wrong answers* . *If you donโ€™t read a question carefully enough, your brain can easily trick you into thinking that the question is asking you something that itโ€™s not, leading you to write a completely different answer that doesnโ€™t solve the actual question youโ€™ve been set.*

4. *The mistake of providing incomplete answers to questions.*

(5.) *Answering questions without using the right vocabulary per topic and per subject.*

(6). *Failing to plan answers before starting to answer them in the answer booklet*. *This is a terrible mistake to do*.
*The mistake of poor time management. Some students spend nearly all the time on one or two questions and are not able to attempt the rest as required.*

(7.) *Explaining answers or writing answers anyhow without the relevant examples, sketches, diagrams, etc*.

(8). *The wrong numbering of answers leads to mix-ups and interchange of question numbers for answers.*

(9.) *Failure to read the instructions before attempting Questions*

*Avoid These Common Mistakes During the EXAM*
