Google’s Gemini AI accessed the protected systems of three real companies during cybersecurity tests.

In one case, Gemini got access by guessing passwords. In two other cases, it found credentials in a public code repository.

The tests were carried out by a security company called Irregular. Google said Gemini stopped the attacks after it realized the systems belonged to real companies.

The incident shows why companies need to carefully test powerful AI systems before giving them more control.

ScrollEd is building an AI-powered app that turns textbooks, PDFs, and other text files into a social-media-style feed. Instead of reading long pages, students can scroll through AI-generated videos, audio, text, and interactive quizzes.

The idea came partly from the founders' frustration with doomscrolling. They wanted to create something useful with the same familiar scrolling experience.

But ScrollEd doesn't want to simply maximize engagement. Users can swipe sideways to explore a topic more deeply instead of immediately moving to the next piece of content.

The startup is also developing technology that could adapt educational content to individual learners in the future.

🤖 OpenAI Launches GPT-6 Sol and Luna

OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Sol and Luna, two new AI models designed to make advanced AI more efficient and affordable. Sol is built for complex tasks such as coding, while Luna is designed for high-volume tasks like summarizing documents and extracting information.

OpenAI says API access to the new models costs about half as much as the previous 5.6 versions. The company links the lower price to improvements in caching and inference. It also says GPT-6 Sol makes fewer factual and coding mistakes than its predecessor.
