There are too many quotes that I like, I won't be able to choose just one. If I had seen this task earlier, I would have prepared in advance, haha. I love saving various expressions, especially snippets from movies or songs; there's something poetic in them.
I'll share just a couple lines from songs with you:

You know, I want to digress a bit from our topic and share a story. My parents taught me that even if you are facing financial difficulties, any celebration should still take place!

So, even during the toughest times in my childhood, we celebrated the New Year, at least at a bare minimum:

Also, we are responsible for our own happiness and the quality of our lives. That's why, it's never worth regretting what has been done. Therefore, I cannot answer the question of how this year could have been better. After all, we cannot predict what consequences certain changes in our actions in the past would have brought. All we can do is learn from our mistakes and try not to repeat them in the future.

For me, home is not the place where you were born and raised; it's not the four walls where you live and do routine tasks. Home is to be in HIS arms and feel safe. Home is a place you want to return to — in my case, it's China. Home is a fluffy creature that greets you at the entrance. Home is something we create ourselves. That's why I find it easy to relocate, and I don't feel attached to one residential area.

February - for the first time in 15 years, Mom and I went on vacation abroad, returned to once-beloved Thailand, had such flashbacks.
March 5th and November 6th - celebrated Mom's and my birthdays at a cafe, didn't have to cook a million dishes at home, a different kind of relaxation.
Mid-March - finally, after 8 months, received my diploma from China.
Summer - thanks to the blog, I met two wonderful girls who have already gone to China; I hope to meet them in the near future.
