Just to inform you,

Those who are having shares name with RE attached in their DEMAT account i.e in Holdings, this is nothing but Right Entitlement.

If u want to apply for shares of the company at the discounted price u have to apply it through ASBA facility provided by the Banks through Internet Banking.

Further, those who feel they don't want to apply for it, they can also sell their Right Entitlement same as they sell shares in the market. Right Entitlement are also Traded in the same way as shares are traded until the right Entitlement lapse.

Right Entitlement can sold in fraction as well. You don't need to sell it full. For example, if u have 100 Right Entitlement, then u may sell 50 or 30 or any number of Entitlement and apply for shares for the remaining number of Right Entitlement in your Holding. So if u don't have sufficient fund to apply for the entire Right Entitlement, then u can sell the Remaining Entitlement

Another thing to add, u definitely have to either apply for shares or sell these right Entitlement. If u don't do anything, u will be in loss.

So either apply for shares through ASBA or sell the Right Entitlement 👍
