part1⃣

Writers often use similes to make their writing more descriptive. A simile makes a comparison using "like" or "as".

💡1. We use "like + noun " to express a general similarity between two things.

🖋The hospital was like a maze.

💡2. We use "as + adjective/adverb +as + noun/-ing "form to compare a specific aspect.

🖋Her face was as white as snow.
