📖Comparatives

Use comparatives to compare two people, places or things.
🚩 e.g:
The doctor is taller than Ewan.


📋There are some rules to learn:

•1.Add " _er " to the end of adjectives with one syllable:

slow ➡️ slower
🖌Your car is slower than mine.


•2.Put " more " before adjectives of two or more syllables:

difficult ➡️ more difficult
🖌My math homework is more difficult than yours.


//Sometimes, when an adjective is written consonant+ vowel+consonant, double the final consonant:

sad ➡️ sadder
🖌Lisa is sadder than Lala.

//When an adjective ends in -y change the -y to an -i and add -er:
busy ➡️ busier
🖌New York is busier than L.A.

***There are some irregular adjectives that do not follow rules:
good ➡️ better
🖌My bike is better than your bike.

bad ➡️ worse
🖌Her laptop is worse than my laptop.
