🌙 Is It Really True That Spending Rs.1,000on Laylatul Qadr Equals Rs.30 Million?

⚡️Can we call everything and anything to be bid'ah?

▫️Many times, you may not get a direct, word-for-word answer to such questions.But scholars throughout history have used their understanding and intellect to derive conclusions that align with the Qur'an,Sunnah,and established Islamic principles

▫️While there may not be an explicit hadith stating that giving sadaqah on Laylatul Qadr equals giving for 83 years, this action falls under the general meaning of righteous deeds — which are indeed multiplied on Laylatul Qadr

⏳️ What does"Laylatul Qadr is better than a thousand months" actually mean?

▫️The discussion here lies in understanding the word “khayr” (خير) as it appears in this ayah
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen رحمه اللهexplains in his tafsir:

▫️“Better than a thousand months in which there is no Laylat al-Qadr;and what is meant by 'better' here is the reward for deeds performed during it, and the goodness and blessings that Allah, the Exalted,sends down upon this Ummah during it.”

▫️So“better than a thousand months”clearly refers to reward. That means any righteous deed done on this night — whether prayer, fasting, dhikr,charity, or helping others
carries a reward that surpasses the same deed repeated for 83+ years.This is natural understanding

🎯 Doesn’t the Qur’an and Sunnah teach that good deeds are multiplied anywhere from10times to700times,or even more, depending on sincerity?

Yes, and this principle certainly applies in Ramadan and especially on Laylatul Qadr,the most sacred night of the year

📚 Let’s look at some narrations mentioned by Mufassirun in explaining this ayah

▫️ Ibn Katheerرحمه اللهmentioned a mursal narration:The Prophetﷺonce mentioned four men from Bani Isra'il who worshipped Allah for 80 years without disobedience, not even for the blink of an eye. His companions were amazed.Then Jibreel عليه سلام descended and said:

▫️“O Muhammad ﷺ, your Ummah is amazed by their worship, but Allah has revealed something better.”
Then he recited:

▫️"Indeed, We sent it down in the Night of Decree...The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months."(Surah Al-Qadr: 1–3)

▫️Jibreel told the Prophet ﷺ:

▫️“This night is better than what amazed you and your Ummah.”

🕌 80 years of uninterrupted worship without disobedience — that’s the standard set by these men of the past. Yet Allah declared that a single night—Laylatul Qadr—could surpass that
So any ibaadah performed on this night is rewarded as better than 83 years of pure worship

▫️In another narration, the Prophet ﷺ mentioned a man from Bani Isra'il who wore his armor and fought in the path of Allah for 1,000 months.The Muslims were amazed, so Allah revealed:

▫️“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months”

😀 A man from the previous nations fought for 1000 months.Then this verse was revealed—and the Muslims rejoiced
This implies that any act of worship even if small done on this single night, surpasses the reward of fighting in Allah’s cause continuously for 1000 months

🌟So on this night, any good deed done such as:

Qiyam(night prayer),Reciting Qur’an, Making dua, Giving sadaqah,Gaining or spreading beneficial knowledge,Making dhikr

▫️all of these may be rewarded as if done every night for 1,000 months(more than30,000nights)

▫️So, if someone gives Rs.1,000sincerely on Laylatul Qadr, it’s as if they gave Rs.1,000every night for1,000months which is Rs. 30,000,000+in reward

😀 This is not a literal bank balance. It's a representation of the scale of reward that Allah, Akramul Akrameen (The Most Generous), is capable of granting

▫️So let us not scoff at this beautiful hope and calculation. This is not bid’ah, it is having husn al-dhann (good thoughts) about Allah, the One who loves to forgive, to reward in abundance,and to give beyond what we imagine.

🌙 *Kya Yeh Haqeeqat Hai Ke Laylatul Qadr Mein Rs. 1,000 Kharch Karna Rs. 30 Million Ke Barabar Hai?*

❓ *Kya Har Baat Ko Bid'ah Kehna Theek Hai?*

Aksar aise sawaalon ka lafzi, harf-ba-harf jawab Qur’an ya Hadith mein nahi milta. Magar ulema ne hamesha apni samajh aur fiqh ke zariye, Qur’an o Sunnah ke usoolon ke mutabiq natije nikale hain.

Laylatul Qadr mein sadaqah dene ka ajar 83 saalon tak dene ke barabar hai — iska lafzi zikr kisi hadith mein na sahi, lekin yeh amal Qur’an ke aam mafhoom mein aata hai ke is raat mein kiye gaye nek aamaal ka ajr bepanah badhaya jata hai.

😀 "*Laylatul Qadr hazaar mahino se behtar hai" ka matlab kya hai?*

Is aayah mein lafz "khayr" (خير) ka mafhoom samajhna zaroori hai.

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) apne tafsir mein farmate hain:

“ *Hazaar mahine jin mein Laylatul Qadr nahi hai, unse behtar hai; aur 'behtar' ka matlab hai — is raat mein kiye gaye aamaal ka ajar, aur woh khair o barakah jo Allah Ta’ala is Ummati par naazil karta hai*.”

To is se sabit hota hai ke "hazaar mahine se behtar" ka matlab hai ke is raat mein kiya gaya har nek amal — chahe woh namaz ho, dhikr, sadaqah ya kisi ki madad — us ka ajr 83+ saal ke amal se zyada hota hai.

🎯 *Kya Qur’an o Sunnah mein yeh nahi aaya ke nek aamaal ka ajar 10 se 700 guna tak barhaya jata hai, ya us se bhi zyada — agar niyyat khalis ho?*

Jee haan, aur yeh usool Ramzan mein bhi laagoo hota hai — Laylatul Qadr mein to aur zyada.

😀 *Mufassirun ne kuch riwayaat zikar ki hain is aayah ki tafsir mein*:

➡️ Ibn Katheer (rahimahullah) ne ek mursal riwayat mein zikr kiya:

Rasoolullah ﷺ ne ek martaba Bani Isra’il ke chaar aadmiyon ka zikar kiya jo 80 saal tak Allah ki ibadat karte rahe, bina kisi gunaah ke — ek pal ke liye bhi nahi. Sahaba heraan ho gaye.

Tab Jibreel (alayhis salaam) aae aur kaha:

"Ya Muhammad ﷺ, aapki ummat in logon ke amal par heran hai, lekin Allah ne isse behtar nazil kiya hai."

Phir yeh aayaat nazil hui:

"Inna anzalnaahu fee Laylatil Qadr..."

Jibreel alayhis salaam ne farmaya:

"Yeh raat us se behtar hai jo aapko heraan kar rahi thi."

Yani woh 80 saal ki lagataar ibadat Laylatul Qadr ke ek raat ke amal se kam hai.

➡️ Ek aur riwayat mein aata hai ke Rasoolullah ﷺ ne ek shakhs ka zikr kiya jo 1,000 mahine tak Allah ke raaste mein jang ladta raha. Musalmaan heran hue. Tab Allah ne yeh aayah nazil ki:

“ *Laylatul Qadr hazaar mahine se behtar hai.*”

📌 Iska matlab hai ke Laylatul Qadr mein chhota sa amal bhi — agar khaalis niyyat se ho — us shakhs ke 1000 mahine tak ke jihad se behtar ho sakta hai.

To is raat mein kiye gaye har nek kaam — jaise ke:

➡️ Qiyam-ul-Lail (raat ki namaz)
➡️ Qur’an ki tilawat
➡️ Dua
➡️ Sadaqah
➡️ Faida mand ilm hasil karna ya phelana
➡️ Allah ka zikr

— in sab ka ajr aisa ho sakta hai jaise ke 1,000 mahine tak har raat kiya gaya ho (yani 30,000+ raatein).

To agar koi shakhs Laylatul Qadr ki raat mein Rs. 1,000 sirf Allah ke liye deta hai — to us ka ajr aisa ho sakta hai jaise us ne 1,000 mahine tak har raat Rs. 1,000 diya ho (30,000+ raaton tak) — jo Rs. 30,000,000+ ka ajar ban jata hai.

🔖 Yeh bank balance nahi hai — yeh Allah ke ajar dene ke usool ka ek hisaab hai. Allah, jo sabse zyada dene wala hai — apne bandon ko us se kahin zyada deta hai jitna woh soch bhi nahi sakte hain.

To is khoobsurat tafakkur aur umeed par hansi mat udaaiye. Yeh bid’ah nahi — balki Allah se achcha guman rakhna hai.

🎁 Laylatul Qadr ek tohfa hai. Chaliye is raat ko dua, sadaqah aur ilm hasil karne mein guzarein.

Allah humein is raat ko paane aur iske bepanah ajr ko hasil karne ki taufeeq de, Aameen.

🕋Zakat al-Fitr according to the Madhhab of Imam Ahmad rahimahullaah

🥣Zakat al-Fitr
It refers to charity given on behalf of the body (contrary to the zakaat on wealth)

🥣It is obligatory upon every Muslim for himself and every Muslim whom he supports, if he possesses surplus food for himself and his dependents for the day and night of Eid. Even if he has some surplus from a sāʿ (a volumetric measure), he should give it.

🧭Saa' is a volumetric measurement. Thus, its weight in gms or kgs will vary with the type of grain measured. According to scholars, it roughly weights 2.5 Kgs/person

🏡So he gives Zakat for himself, his wives, then his mother, then his father, and then anyone else he is obligated to support.

📍Debt does not exempt a person from paying Zakat al-Fitr, and it must be given as a sāʿ of food.

🗺Monetary value in place of food does not suffice, according to the correct opinion of the madhhab. In short, you cannot give it in CASH.

🏜It is recommended to give it on the day of Eid before the prayer, and it is not permissible to delay it beyond the day of Eid.
🏜It becomes obligatory at sunset on the night of Eid al-Fitr (when moon of shawwal is sighted).
🏜It is permissible to give it ONLY one or two days before Eid (to those who are collecting it like baytul maal)

💵It is permissible to give one needy person the amount due from a group, and for a group to give the amount due from one person.
