Polygon rose over 10X between March 2021 and its all-time high in May 2021. It then crashed almost 66% in the recent Crypto crash. However, unlike other cryptocurrencies, Polygon has recovered.
💡 Here's Prateek Singh's view on Matic (as shared on CNBC TV-18):
"The value of any cryptocurrency is derived from two factors:
1. The hype which is generally short-term in nature and may result in the fate that Dogecoin saw in the recent crash.
2. The fundamental value that it provides.
Matic is a layer 2 scaling solution built on the Ethereum blockchain. It helps speed up transactions made on ethereum based DApps.
So, Matic does provide a fundamental value to DApps developers.
It will, however, be more better if people start learning how crypto works, what are Dapps, what fundamental value does Matic provide, etc, and based on that analysis take an investment call."
