Learn how to use alligators and fractals in an Intraday Options Buying Strategy
Alligators and fractals are two technical indicators used together to find trends and create accurate forecasts.
Alligators are composed of 3 moving averages:
Alligator’s Jaw - Set at a default and made up of 13 period moving average, offset 8 bars into the future
Alligator’s Teeth - Consisting 8 period moving average, offset 5 bars into the future
Alligator’s Lips - Consisting 5 period moving average, offset 3 bars into the future
These offsets are projections that help you understand future trends.
Fractals help you understand swing high and lows in the price chart.
When there is an up fractal breakout, you go long. And when there is a down fractal breakout, you go short.
