👋Доброе утро всем!

Дремать (imperfective)
  [dri-mat']
  To be in a drowsy,
   half-asleep state

Also:
Задремать (perfective)
  [za-dri-mat']
To drop off to sleep, doze
  off

🔻Prefix ЗА- with a verb denotes the beginning of an action.

▶️Отрубиться (revision)

Вздремнуть (perfective)
  [vzrim-nut']
  To take a nap

Origin:
'Дремать' goes back to the Proto-Indo-European *dre- 'to sleep.' Though there is no connection to the English verb 'to dream': its roots go back to the ancient German verb 'draugmas' meaning 'delusion, illusion'.

Наступaть на (одни и) те же гра‌бли
[na-stu-pat' na (ad-ni i) te zhe grab-li]
SLT: To step on one and the same rake

Meaning:
To keep making the same mistakes, to fall into the same trap, to be caught twice with the same bait

Why do people continue to step on the same rake? It's simple, according to Oxford scientists conducting brain research, the implementation of accumulated experience depends on the size of the lateral frontal pole of the prefrontal cortex. So, take it easy!

Большинство‌ люде‌й постоя‌нно наступа‌ют на одни и те же гра‌бли.
[bal'-shyn-stvo lyu-dey pas-ta-yan-na na-stu-pa-yut na ad-ni i te zhe grab-li]
🇬🇧 Most people make the same mistakes over and over again.

There used to be a lot of weird female/male newly invented names for kids in the USSR. Like:

Даздраперма
  [da-zdra-per-ma]

Short for a Soviet slogan:
Да Здравствует Первое Мая!
Long life the first of May!
