I've mentioned it on stream yesterday: I am officially working on Paws&Quests as a "full-time" job (given my capacity).
This means I'll really double down on developing every aspect of the game and make it as smooth as possible for people to discover the game, play for themselves, and start building inside the game.
To achieve this goal, I have to create a motivation scheme. The stupidest idea came to mind and while it is absolutely not a great one, it's a simple and, to me, funny one.
I also want to provide DAILY UPDATES as I feel like even if I spend 30 minutes on a busy day, I would still be glad to accomplish something and have it as a routine, than skip a day entirely and feel bad for stacking unrealized efforts.

So my progress today: I've actually searched providers to host the game server for a 24/7 access, even if the game is in development.
I think it's going to allow me to release versions faster and have people try out new features on the go, while giving me almost instant feedback/ bug reports to fix.
I am happy to report that I've bought a VPS solution and will working on integrating the database tomorrow.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to @PerryTheKid who has purchase a commission from me and his contribution allowed me to pay for the service. :)

So my progress today: I've been able to reeeeeeeeally put some thoughts again on the combat system as I want it to be completed for beta testing once server is opened.
My goal is to have a real minimum viable product to present so people can enjoy the game and sahre it around.
I haven't been following up on what I said I would do yesterday, but it is progress. 😂 I felt like integrating the database is too soon considering some things are yet to be done.

So my progress today: combat system is completed and working as intended. I can now populate on the go new skills and effects. The foundation is done.
Regarding world map, I've also been doing a lot these past few weeks and now I'm close to finishing it... I'm not quite there yet but I hope end of next week is good estimate.
Once that's done, I'll move to the adventure part of the game which is the visual novel style type of story.

So my progress today: I've made an attempt at an editor idea for the world map; while working on the world map. I thought about it because instead of making the whole storyline and placing the exact events where they should be in the world manually, I would rather be able to progress through the storyline by adding lore and main storyline bits by bits while other users can also work on their very own stories.
I am very glad I've started that, because it is a key element of Paws&Quests success story in my opinion, so heh... ETA still for end of next week to have this feature working.

So my progress today: I've kept on working on the world map and the "creator mode". ^^ It is... tricky but thanfully we are living in an age of AI which is freaking intelligent and sincerely, coding wise, it's shockingly faster than my brain. So it helped me identify some concerns and I am working on implementing the ideas I have for it. So it's a work in progress! ETA still valid for end of next week so, so far so good!
I'm still tired as hell but weather seems to chill starting tomorrow so we'll see. I was happy today so that's good mood. :3 Done a lot today.

So my progress today: Kept working on the world map. 🙂 Fixed a little creator mode thing... And moved on to add more features to the world scenes with travel mechanic so it will be ready when I move things forwards with things to place on top of it. Still on track for a good end of week (Friday) finish. ^^
