🇺🇸 A man stabbed a worker at Valley Fair Mall in #Utah, but was knocked out by fellow shoppers in short order before police arrived on scene.

The stabbing happened just before 3 p.m. on July 13 at a kiosk inside the mall. Police said a male suspect approached the employee, and after a brief interaction, pulled out a knife and began stabbing the victim multiple times. No fatality reported. Bystanders' quick intervention likely helped.

A man was being put out the lounge, during the process, multiple security guards working there were seen striking him with batons. It’s unclear why he was being put out, but many are questioning why he was being attacked that way.

🇺🇸 #Austin cops shoot dead 29-year-old Emmanuel Diaz after he points gun at officers, ignores commands and is hit by 17 rounds; officers placed on leave. Diaz had earlier threatened multiple runners with a gun, possessed three firearms total including two loaded handguns in a backpack, fled on foot and scooter during the pursuit, and was struck by 17 rounds.

🇮🇷🇦🇪 The bulk carrier Luni split apart and partially sank near the Strait of Hormuz off Bandar Abbas, Iran, after sustaining catastrophic hull damage.

The St. Kitts and Nevis-flagged vessel was en route to Jebel Ali, UAE. All crew members were rescued, and the cause of the incident remains unknown.

🇺🇸 #Minnesota. Not good. In Inver Grove Heights, a semi that was driving incorrectly on the freeway with its trailer raised in the air hit the bridge at Hwy 52 and Hwy 55.

Minnesota State Patrol troopers also responded to the scene. Officials have not said if any injuries were sustained in the collision, or if the bridge was damaged in the crash.

🇺🇸 Passenger arrested after allegedly shooting “deadly missiles” at cars on the interstate and is shocked to find out a helicopter was recording them.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Department in #Florida released video of the incident in which the passenger allegedly tried to lie about shooting the fireworks at cars on Interstate 95. The passenger has been charged with shooting a deadly missile out of a moving vehicle.
