🇩🇪 German police reveal that a Syrian asylum seeker pulled out an AK47 after being denied entry to a nightclub in Leipzig by security guards.

He was quickly tackled to the ground. His AK was missing its firing pin and unusable, but it's unknown if the Syrian was aware of this.

He was arrested by the police, who also found a blank-firing pistol during the search of his apartment.

German judges determined that he did not pose a sufficiently serious threat to justify holding him in custody and released him pending charges of making death threats and illegal possession of a weapon.

🇺🇸 An out-of-control MTA bus crashes into several cars over six blocks in the #Bronx — leaving 8 people injured. The MTA is investigating whether a mechanical failure caused the bus to lose control.

The 63-year-old bus driver and 7 adult passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals, cops said. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.
