Aditi & Ors vs National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences & Ors (W.P. No. 456/2025)

Supreme Court Ruling:
The Supreme Court has directed NBE to conduct NEET-PG 2025 in a single shift, rejecting the two-shift format as arbitrary and unfair to candidates.

🗓 Exam Update:
Originally scheduled for June 15, the exam is now postponed, and a new date will be announced soon.

🧑‍⚖️ Bench Observation:
Holding exams in two shifts causes variation in difficulty, creating inequality.
The Court also dismissed NBE’s claim of insufficient centres, citing India’s tech infrastructure.

📢 NBE Statement:
NEET-PG 2025 will now be held in one shift only, ensuring transparency and fairness.

Thousands gathered with unmatched energy and hope near Chinnaswamy Stadium and Vidhana Soudha. But by evening, the cheers had turned into cries for help 😢🚨

A deadly stampede broke out near Gate 3 of the stadium, claiming at least 11 innocent lives, including a 14-year-old girl who had simply come with her family to witness history. Dozens were left injured 🙏🏻
