Piyush Pandey, the creator behind several of India's well-known advertising campaigns, passed away at the age of 70.
He worked on campaigns for brands including Fevicol, Cadbury, Asian Paints, Luna Moped, and Fortune Oil.
Pandey joined Ogilvy in 1982. After six years, he entered the creative department and later became Chief Creative Officer Worldwide and Executive Chairman India. Under his leadership, Ogilvy India was ranked the top agency for 12 consecutive years in the Economic Times' Agency Reckoner survey.
He wrote the lyrics of "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara" and co-wrote the screenplay for the film Bhopal Express.
Pandey also appeared in films and marketing campaigns, including Madras Cafe and videos for the Magic Pencil Project by ICICI Bank.
He received the Padma Shri in 2016 for his work in advertising.

🚨CLAT 2026 NOTIFICATION: Important Reservation Updates for NLUO & DSNLU🚨
The CLAT Consortium has announced changes to the reservation matrices for both NLUO, Cuttack and DSNLU, Visakhapatnam.
For NLUO, Cuttack: Key changes include the addition of the SEBC (Odisha State) category and the Ex-Servicemen quota. The PWD (Odisha) category has been removed.
For DSNLU, Visakhapatnam: For both UG and PG programs, the SC of AP category has been subdivided into three groups: SC-AP (Group I), SC-AP (Group II), and SC-AP (Group III).
Eligible candidates for either university are strongly advised to log in to their CLAT account and update their application categories at the earliest.
