This has been a hard decision, but there was no other way to handle this.

a quick heads-up about what's going on with Lawnchair:
many of you have already noticed that we're currently on a bit of a break, and there have already been far less builds before that. this is not because we want to discontinue Lawnchair. so don't worry…

so since we're still on a hiatus, and all of you have been waiting for the q changes, or at least the start of our q changes to be public, we decided to do the responsible thing and uploaded our (very incomplete) android q merge to our public repository.…

I no longer lead this Project in any way and cannot answer your questions. You can join the support group chat if there is anything you need to ask, I will simply ignore you.
Thanks for staying around for this long, I enjoyed my ride while it lasted and can't wait to see what the rest of the team and our new members will do with this project!

Hey,
It's with a heavy heart, I have to say that I am unfortunately resigning from my post as the PR Lead and Moderator from Lawnchair. It's not a decision I have made lightly or in haste.
Working full-time necessitates me spending less time towards the project and after the ongoing drama, it's just left a bad taste for me and I no longer have the mental strength to continue.
The past ~4 years as a team member were a blast. I'll cherish my memories as part of the team, and I have learnt a lot from everyone involved with the project. Lawnchair, for me, was not just another custom launcher, but felt like home.
To the team: wishing you all the very best with the future of Lawnchair, I'm excited and can't wait to see how the launcher evolves in the near future.
PSA: This does NOT, in any way, mean that the project is deprecated. Development will continue and so will the builds y'all love. Please don't make any assumptions. :)
Thanks for everything,
Abhijeet

Lawnchair 12.1 is here! This release is based on Launcher3 from Android 12.1 and works with QuickSwitch on Android 12.1. In addition, it includes the following new features:
• a new At a Glance widget

• the ability to change the search provider for the Dock search bar (thanks to Dylan Roussel)
• multiple new shapes for Adaptive Icons (thanks to @yasandev and Daria Hamrah Paytakht)
• an option to display the notification count in Notification Dots (thanks to @yasandev and Daria Hamrah Paytakht)
• the ability to add custom fonts

Also included in this version are bug fixes and other improvements. Thanks go to Juhyung Park, Pranav Santhosh, Erfan Abdi, and @SuperDragonXD for their contributions.
Note: Lawnchair 12.1 is not compatible with QuickSwitch on Android 11 and 12. Please make sure you’re on Android 12L before installing.

Lawnchair 12.1.0 Alpha 3 is now available. We released version 12.1.0 Alpha 2 earlier today, but we unpublished it shortly after due to a critical bug that affected it.
Compared to version 12.1.0 Alpha 1, Lawnchair 12.1.0 Alpha 3 introduces backup functionality and resolves an issue where, on devices with Spanish set as the system display language, Lawnchair would crash on being opened.

I'll leave you with this tweet for now until I write a full statement on the future of Lawnchair, have a nice weekend!
