Good evening, everyone. Hope you’re having a fantastic week.
And last but not least: 10 facts on Climate, Agriculture and Food from the digital library of the UN. Very informative.

Good evening, everyone. Hope you’re having a productive Monday. Without further ado, here are my recommendations:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/do-the-right-thing/202206/is-freedom-speech-dead-college-campuses

An article from Psychology Today about the need to embrace civility, hospitality, solidarity and kinship to not lose our freedom of speech.
I really hope you can learn a thing or two from these different topics (in English). Remember, English is a tool to communicate rather than a skill to master.

P.s. I’m not here to teach. I’m here just to help you add English into your daily routine.

And If you have any questions/suggestions/feedback don’t hesitate to contact me directly.

With love, Laura :)
Hi everyone, happy Friday.

Did you know that Pride Month is celebrated in June? 🌈🫶🏻

With that in mind, here’s an article with everything you need to know about it: What is it? How did it begin? How is it celebrated? Etc.

Hope you can learn something and empathize with it a little bit. 😀

And here’s a book about feminism, from Chimamanda Adichie. (the author of the award winning book “We should all be feminists”).

Chimamanda is a super eloquent writer and one of the most compelling contemporary voices in the world today. In this book, you’ll find 15 suggestion to empower a young woman.

Here’s my suggestion for how to approach the book:

⁃Read each suggestion and write a summary of it (to improve your writing skills as well).

This is what I’ve been having my students to do. They’re lovin’ it 😇
