Good morning Pacenas y Pacenos. - About 1/2 hour before "official" sunrise time at 06:03hr. Pleasant morning and it will be a great day in terms of weather!
We are part of #BCSIN now and share resources (like photos and video) across the Baja California Sur Info Network.
We are well of in La Paz in comparison to other parts of Mexico or just going up north the Baja peninsula and take TJ as example.
We talk about crime and cartels here.
Is that guy "tone deaf"??
Friday he delivered his second-to-last state of the union, and perhaps what was most striking of his roughly 1 1/2 hour speech was what he didn’t talk about: drugs, crime or drug cartels.
The editor this morning has personaly good friends in several states at Mexican mainland that suffer greatly from the impact of exactly what that guy seem to just "oversee".
Experts and residents agree that wide swaths of Mexico are under the de-facto control of drug cartels, but President Andrés Manuel López Obrador mentioned gangs - and drugs - exactly zero times.

Cloudy skies to start the week with cerro Atravesado barely visible due to the cloud cover.
Good morning La Paz.
The only mosquito present in the area is the Aedes aegypti, which transmits viruses such as Zika, chikungunya and dengue. All four serotypes of the dengue virus are present in Mexico, increasing the likelihood of developing severe dengue.
