Среди них нет отрицательных персонажей, если не считать нескольких проходных, появлявшихся в одной-двух сериях. Смешарики населяют Страну Смешариков и живут в Ромашковой долине, отделённой от Большого Мира морем, пустыней, лесом и горами. Смешарики живут дружным коллективом, занимаются различными повседневными делами, попадают в необычные, а иногда и опасные ситуации.
Krаsh (Russian: Крош, romanized: Krosh) a.k.a. Pogoriki[12] a male sky blue-colored rabbit and the main protagonist who is eager to jump into new adventures. Rosa (Russian: Нюша, romanized: Nyusha), a.k.a. Rosariki[15] a light pink-colored pig, described as a fashionista. He wears a yellow hat with a round edged brim, and has a brown nose, round circular cheeks underneath his eyes, black eyebrows, and a beige tail on his rear. Olga (Russian: Совунья, romanized: Sovun'ya), a.k.a. Olgariki[18] a purple-colored owl who often helps with useful advice and her wisdom.[13] Acts like a caring grandma. She also has a darker purple on the top of her head. She wears a red-violet and orange striped hat with a puffy ball on top, and has darker purple three-toed feet. Dokko (Russian: Лосяш, romanized: Losyash), a.k.a. Docoriki[19] a golden yellow-colored moose who is an eccentric and nerdy scientist. He speaks with a British accent.
