What is happening?
1-year long EOS ICO ends on June 1, 2018 at 22:59:59 UTC. All ERC20 EOS tokens shall be translated into native EOS blockchain tokens.
During the ICO the purchased ERC20 tokens belong to Ethereum addresses. Such addresses shall be mapped (registered) to EOS native blockchain addresses no later than 23 hours following 22:59:59 UTC June 1, 2018 to enable receipt of new EOS tokens belonging to EOS blockchain.
Why is it important to me?
All EOS tokens left on LATOKEN platform will become locked (non-transferable) 23 hours following 22:59:59 UTC June 1, 2018. It means that upon expiry of that period of time EOS ERC20 tokens will then stay in Ethereum blockchain forever — no one will be able to buy, sell or otherwise transfer EOS ERC20 tokens, hence EOS ERC20 tokens will have no value.
As of May 22, 2018 EOS tokens depositing and trading have been stopped on LATOKEN exchange.
