Our weekly Dev Update is ready.
1. Ethereum integration update. As you could notice, problems with withdrawals in the last week occurred. It's related to major instability of global Ethereum nodes (probably because of ETH price growth) - Infura, MyEtherWallet, EtherScan - all these services were highly unstable during the last week. Our own reserve Ethereum-nodes system was implemented to tackle these problems. Currently, ETH withdrawals are processed as fast as possible.
2. ERC20 tokens integration. We prepared 5 new tokens for our platform and trading opening is scheduled to start in the beginning of next week. Withdrawals and deposits of these tokens are ready and will be working as tokens are launched.
3. Blockchain database implementation and internal accounting system. Being an exchange we have to track every transaction and double-check each figure related to balances/trading. We implemented our own relational database representing Ethereum transaction (BTC/BCH coming coon). It enables us to detect any problem related to trading and replenish our internal pools in a timely manner. Planned public API to the system will enable developers to analyze blockchain information and collaborate on new projects.
4. Internal tokenization CRM update and ICO-listings integration. As we want to provide a wide range of information about cryptoassets available for trading, few ICO-listings were integrated to disclose ongoing and upcoming token sales. A participation in token sales directly on the platform will soon be available.
5. Internationalization system for our translators. We are translating our platform to more languages to make it user-friendly for all range of our users. A translation-management system was integrated to localize the platform for users from Asian countries.

Forbes compares the crypto to the derivatives markets that did not exist up until 1973 but grew into a $544 trillion market by 2018. The article claims that the crypto might follow this well-trodden path, and mentions the Blockchain Economic Forum as one of the main events to facilitate the discussions of the most important topics of the crypto economy and its growing influence on the global economy.

As the popularity of crypto continues to grow, many newbie investors are puzzled and, probably, perplexed by a recent slump in the value of many crypto assets.
As of late January 16, 97 out of the top-100 assets and 288 out of the top-300 assets on CoinMarketCap found themselves in the 24H red zone, with median decline at around -21%. Ironically, the very fact that more and more people have recently been exchanging their fiat money for cryptocurrencies could be one of the factors contributing to the decline. But there are more. LAToken Platform frontend update: we have migrated to React 16 and Ant.Design 3.0, which gives us much more speed in rendering (which is critically important for all charts and order books we have) and development.
Moreover, we are migrating our static sites (latoken.com, sale.latoken.com) to the React basis, so, our new assets and few trading interfaces will be available for all new users right on the frontal page of the site.
Micro-services architecture is 70% ready and on the next week part of critical modules of the system will be migrated to the new architecture. It means that authorization, trading and assets exploring will be much more performant and capable to handle thousands of users in real-time.
Big translations update - all pages in LAToken Platform were properly marked up to be capable of different language versions, and our translators are already working on localization of all texts on the platform.
So, more users will feel much more domestic during their experience with our platform and much more new users will come as they will feel no language barrier.

1. C++ high-performant matching engine. We started process of integration matching engine capable to process 2 000 000 of transactions per seconds. It will replace our current solution and give us ability to scale up to 5-6 millions of active users on our platform.
2. Kubernates-based microservices architecture. We are in the process of migration from our current architecture to the new one, which will give amazing speed for LA Platform. Each part of the system such as auth engine, assets listing, market data, etc. will become from 20 to 170 times faster.
3. Lightning-based network for processing trades. We are in the process of researching Lighting Network as a possible solution for decentralized exchange. First controlled transactions are done, so the next steps is to integrate Lightning Payment channels to the current matching engine.
