How can improvisation help you come up with an idea? 🤔

🔹 Each participant writes an idea
🔹Take turns listening to each of the team
🔹Continue the idea with the help of the "yes and" technique

Reducing the number of ideas, I recommend using the "yes and" technique.

The "yes and" technique is a method borrowed from improvisational comedy that encourages the performer to listen to what another participant has said and then comment on it.

Saying "yes" encourages people to assimilate ideas and be more receptive to the suggestions of others, instead of quickly rejecting the idea, it would be better to accept it first, which will allow the discussion to move smoothly to the discussion of the idea.

Keeping the "and" helps people refrain from directly changing the proposed idea and instead rely on what has already been proposed.

Hello!
It's time to come up with ideas for your projects!

There are several techniques for generating ideas, such as “steal like an artist”:

1. Each member of the group takes an A4 paper and folds it into 8 rectangular pieces

2. Set a timer for 8 minutes

3. For each of the 8 minutes, sketch out an idea in one of the rectangles.

4. When the timer turns off, work stops!

In a group of four, this process will generate thirty-two ideas! Walk around your group and let each team member talk about their ideas :)

You can read how to test your ideas here

How to present your project? 👨‍💻

The main goal of the hackathon is to create an MVP — minimum viable product. It is the first, most likely unfinished version of your product. However, it already demonstrates the potential to solve the user’s problem.

To present the project to the judges, your team should:

🔹 Create a 5 minutes video presentation where your MVP is shown and described
🔹 Send the video to the mentors.
🔹 After that, be ready to share screen with this video in your turn and answer the questions 🥳
