ISATS are delighted to announce the tenth session of the International Surgical Anatomy Teaching Series (ISATS) 2023/24! 🌟 😍

SESSION 10: Upper Limb & Trauma and Orthopaedics on Wednesday, 6th December 2023, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

PART 1: PEER-ASSISTED TEACHING – Upper limb anatomy teaching led by junior doctors/senior medical students 😍

PART 2: SURGICAL APPLICATION - Surgical teaching led by an expert surgeon taking you through the surgical anatomy of common surgical procedures in Trauma & Orthopaedics.

After the success of last week’s session, ISATS is very grateful to welcome back Mr Mohamedfaris for another week as he takes us through the surgical application of upper limb Trauma & Orthopaedics. Mr Mohamedfaris is a passionate teacher and surgeon and we look forward to another great session!

Introducing your Expert Surgeon for the evening: Mr Kushan Nanayakkara 😍🌟

Mr Nanayakkara is currently working as a specialty trainee in UGI surgery at Royal Derby Hospital. He started his surgical career in 2015, completing registrar training in 2018 and senior fellowship in 2020. Subsequently, Mr Nanayakkara came to the UK for specialized training in UGI training and entered to specialist registry in Sri Lanka as a consultant general and UGI surgeon in 2022. Currently, he is pursuing a career as a UGI surgeon in the UK.

Introducing your Expert Surgeon for the evening: Mr Amr Abdallah 😍🤍

Mr Abdallah is a speciality registrar in colorectal surgery at Royal Derby Hospital. He is also a clinical lecturer of Surgical Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University. Mr Abdalla has been on the specialist registry in Egypt as a consultant in general surgery & surgical oncology since 2021.
