❗️ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್‌ಎನ್‌ಜಿ
(LNG - Liquefied Natural Gas) ಚಾಲಿತ ರೈಲಿಗೆ ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನ ಸಾಬರಮತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ: ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಅವರು ಗುಜರಾತ್‌ನ ಸಾಬರಮತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಮೊದಲ ಎಲ್‌ಎನ್‌ಜಿ ಚಾಲಿತ ರೈಲಿಗೆ ಹಸಿರುನಿಶಾನೆ ತೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಾರತದ ಸಾಧನೆ: ಎಲ್‌ಎನ್‌ಜಿ ಚಾಲಿತ ರೈಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸುವ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ೬ನೇ (6ನೇ) ದೇಶವಾಗಿ ಭಾರತ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ.
ದ್ವಿ-ಇಂಧನ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ (Dual-Fuel):
ಈ ರೈಲನ್ನು ಎಲ್‌ಎನ್‌ಜಿ ಇಂಧನದಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಡೀಸೆಲ್‌ನಿಂದಲೂ ಓಡಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಎಲ್‌ಎನ್‌ಜಿ (LNG) ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಇತರ ೫ ದೇಶಗಳು: ಅಮೆರಿಕ, ರಷ್ಯಾ, ಎಸ್ಟೋನಿಯಾ, ಕಜಕಿಸ್ತಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆನಡಾ.

🔸ಎಥೆನಾಲ್ ಒಂದು ಆಲ್ಕೋಹಾಲ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಇಂಧನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬು, ಮೆಕ್ಕೆಜೋಳ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಹಲವು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು.
🔸ಫ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್-ಇಂಧನ ವಾಹನ
ಫ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್-ಇಂಧನ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಥೆನಾಲ್‌ನ ವಿವಿಧ ಮಿಶ್ರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಲು ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವಾಹನದ ಇಂಧನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಎಂಜಿನ್-ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯು ಅನುಮೋದಿತ ಇಂಧನಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬ್ರೆಜಿಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯುಎಸ್ಎಯಂತಹ ಕೆಲವು ದೇಶಗಳು ಫ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್-ಇಂಧನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಬ್ರೆಜಿಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ಯಾಸೋಲಿನ್-ಎಥೆನಾಲ್ ಮಿಶ್ರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಲಿಸುವ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಫ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್-ಇಂಧನ ವಾಹನಗಳಿವೆ.
