Very grateful for the circle of friends I have today. A dream came true.
You are who you surround yourself with!
Myself and a few other entrepreneurs, we meet every other week to do a simple activity.
Cold plunge & Breakfast.
Bi-weekly - futsal sessions to keep healthy.
A circle of constant growth and well being.
This influence is also picked up by my own team, where they exercise and cold plunge in the morning when the day starts.
How’s your circle like?

They say, “If your goals don’t scare you, you’re not dreaming big enough.”
I started this business 4 years ago with a simple promise to myself: Retire in 5 years.
Along the way, something changed, I fell in love with the process. The grind. The growth.
Passion and obsession.
To aspire, nurture and educate.
I realized I don’t want to retire.
Today, my goals have evolved and honestly, some people around me think I’ve lost my mind.
And that’s the point!
I’ve always believed: Aim for the moon even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.
Or a better one:
Set a 10-year goal. Now ask yourself, how would I achieve it in 6 months?
You might fall short and I guarantee you’ll get there faster than the one who gave themselves 10 years.
Aim for the impossible.
Dream IMPOSSIBLE!

I spent RM 50,000 for my team and I to learn NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).
The people around me kept sharing about it and I realised, it’s about rewiring the way people think, decide, and take action.
For my team, the benefits were clear, they could build rapport faster, close more sales, and handle objections with ease.
As for myself, an entrepreneur, we tend to see it for ourselves, as well as for the business, a very birds eye view POV.
I saw NLP not just as a tool… it is also as a control panel for business.
With it, I could influence negotiations, design marketing that connects at a subconscious level,
and even install motivation into my team when the pressure was high.
The broader canvas:
• Sales & Negotiation Mastery
– Using NLP language patterns and reframing techniques, I can turn a “no” into a “yes” without pushing, simply by aligning with how the other person’s mind processes information.
Values and understanding >>
• Leadership & Team Motivation
– Understanding each individual’s representational systems and triggers means I can inspire action in a way that’s natural for them, not a one-size-fits-all speech.
Again, values and understanding >>>
• Marketing Psychology
– Embedding subconscious anchors and persuasive structures in our ads, videos, and copy to connect deeper with audiences without them even realizing why they feel drawn to us.
• Self-Mastery
– Reprogramming my own limiting beliefs instantly, so I operate from clarity and confidence, a structured way to communicate and understand.
• Vision Forecasting
– Using NLP future pacing to help my team and clients “experience” success in their minds before it happens, making it far more likely they’ll take action toward it and training my team for a more structured response.
I see it as a way to engineer outcomes in conversations, in deals, in marketing, and even in the culture of my company.
It’s a very very POWERFUL business weapon.
What other courses would you recommend?

I’m back on my marathon of reading, (Koocester’s Think Week) and it’s pure joy. Every page feels like a spark of enlightenment, filled with invaluable wisdom and perspectives.
I’ve always had a deep love for books. YouTube videos are great,
but books… they have a way of speaking to the soul.
Right now, I’m reading a newly released book, and I’ll share more once I finish it.
And even halfway through, it’s already filled my heart with love, fulfilment, and passion. ❤️
I’ve had the opportunity to have a meal with the author twice in person, yet I crave more time with him.
Every MOMENT, whether in real life or through the pages, feels precious. ❤️
As I read, I feel my own journey being subconsciously affirmed.
I’m gathering golden nuggets that not only enrich my life, at the same time also ripple out to impact thousands of others.
I feel so lucky to be reading this and knowing him in person. ❤️🫀💙

Adam Khoo.
Probably a name you are very familiar with, either make it or break it. Well he probably made you cry before.
Today we had the opportunity to know more about his business, touring his office.
Fun facts we gathered;
3 years into the business Adam, appointed a CEO, putting himself as the Executive Chairman of AKLTG. (Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group)
Adam Khoo has 1 million subscribers on YouTube.
Adam Khoo became a millionaire at 26.
Adam Khoo now focuses more on teaching stock investing, and is very transparent with his portfolio, wins and losses.
Has 3 portfolios, amounting to 10M USD + 9M SGD.
Annual revenue of AKLTG is about 25-30 million.
Despite knowing his earnings and portfolios, he is known to be very frugal.
So many more learnings we had in the video, even more golden nuggets off camera, so excited to share with everyone!
Also, Adam Khoo is going to speak and hold a fireside chat, for KOOMUNITY, it will be FREE and on webinar. So ask away!

Taufik Batisah, our 1st Singapore Idol winner.
We first met when I bumped into him during my Foodpanda days.
I remembered having to deliver to an apartment and I saw a very bright cyan Mercedes. I said to myself if this car is still here after I delivered my food, I’m gonna ask him what he does for a living.
And yes, the car is still there and I asked the person to roll down the window. It’s him. Taufik Batisah.
Well he ventured into the real estate business and he was there for his client, and a great ass opportunity for me too, cause he’s a celebrity! We connected and I’m surprised he exchanged numbers with me.
Fast forward, we met in an entrepreneur’s event, a year or 2 later, caught up, and told him, we haven’t had a meal ever! Let’s grab lunch?

He invited me to his humble abode, and we share our values and learnings.
Eventually we became friends. We often go for very early breakfast. 5am kind, and we’ll share and talk until it’s 9/10am.
What we have learnt, reflections and experiences. Personal and business.
Today, I learnt about giving back.

Giving back. What does it mean?
It’s often associated with choosing your organisation and donating to the cause.
What if we think further?
Nothing in this world is ours, the more we earn, the more we are supposed to give back.
Giving back to your family. Giving back to your teammates. A friend in need. Give back in any way you can think of.
Like treating someone for lunch or buying someone a simple and thoughtful gift.
… and if life has ever shown you kindness, you carry a piece of that forward,
it is to pass on, and double it!
Sometimes the smallest act of giving… can change someone’s entire world.
Can you do me a favour, to give something back today?

I am NOT Good Enough.
Over the past few days, I’ve been deeply inspired by this book.
It traces the remarkable journey of Mohamed Ismail Gafoor, the man who once woke at 3 am, to deliver newspapers, eventually leading PropNex into becoming Singapore’s largest listed real estate agency, with over 13,000 agents.
The relentless pursuit of a dream when no one else sees it. Every page is filled with lessons on resilience, leadership, and believing in something so deeply that you’re willing to give it everything you have.
The book a testament to resilience, humble beginnings, and the belief that one person’s dream can lift thousands.
Since its launch, the book has been ranked National Best Seller, 2 weeks in a row!

After reading Ismail Gafoor’s book, I recall him recommending these 2 things heavily:
1) The book, “Built to Last : Successful Habits of Visionary Companies, by James C. Collins and Jerry I. Porras
2) POP (Psychology of Potential) Course
A course that teaches mental, emotional, and behavioral factors that influence how people recognize, develop, and maximize their abilities.

Inspired by Ismail’s military background,
I named the project to build Koocester Group to last, PROJECT LEGACY.
Mission: Creating and protecting timeless principles, core ideology and purpose.
1) the handful of guiding principles that have intrinsic value to the company.
2) the reason for the company’s existence beyond just making money.
Vision: Creating Insane Goals - 10/20/30 Years into the future, and envisioning it
1) A bold, clear target that inspires and challenges.
2) A detailed, emotionally compelling picture of what it will be like when the goal is achieved.
To endure and thrive for decades, even through market shifts, leadership changes, and crises.
These are the successful habits of visionary companies.

Despite running a content creation business, I’ve never really been a “social media person.”
Koocester Group is now in the capable hands of my team, and I’ve started my own personal account.
This time, I want to tell stories. How these moments are very different from what I started with.
The scenes that did not make it to the final cut.
What I’ve lived through behind the scenes is another story entirely, and I want to share it in the most raw and unfiltered way possible.
If you’re curious to see the behind the scenes side of things, here’s where I’ll be sharing:

On my way to Jakarta right now ✈️ setting up Koocester Media Indonesia.
Feeling grateful that my younger self had the guts to step out of Singapore years ago, first into Malaysia, then Indonesia. (then HK, China, and many more)
All for one reason:
To learn from entrepreneurs abroad.
Different countries, regions, and cultures shape entrepreneurs in unique ways. The challenges they face are different from ours in Singapore, and that forced me to see business from fresh perspectives.
Along the way, I’ve built strong relationships with founders across borders. We’d catch up whenever they’re in SG, or whenever I’m in their country. These connections became priceless.
I’ve always believed, “I have the whole world to play with!” And step by step, we’re making it happen, slowly, and surely.
Also I just bought Whoop to track recovery, health, and performance. If you’re on Whoop too, join KOOMUNITY! ⚪️🔴
