KNUST has opened applications for the 2026/2027 academic year, with the first semester set to commence on October 13, 2026
Sale and purchase of admission forms for Undergraduate and Top-Up programmes for the KNUST 2026/2027 Academic Year are now open.

Forms are available through the following authorised channels:
1. Designated banks and selected post offices nationwide
2. Online purchase via Mobile Money by dialling **415*55#* and following the prompts.

Applicants are advised to purchase forms only from authorised outlets. Further updates will be communicated in due course.

Entrance exams into the Ghana School of Law have been scheduled for 31st July 2026.

To accommodate this tight deadline, KNUST final-year Law students will begin their end-of-second-semester exams on 25th May 2026, just before the semester begins.
SUSPENSION OF KNUST SUPPLEMENTARY/RESIT EXAMINATIONS

KNUST has announced the official suspension of Supplementary/Resit Examinations for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 Academic Years.

DETAILS OF THE SUSPENSION
1. Academic Years Affected: 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 Academic Years
2. Purpose :In furtherance of measures to revert to the previous Academic Calendar
3. Decision: Approved at the 440th Special Meeting of the Academic Board held on Monday, 16th February 2026

ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR TRAILED COURSES
The following procedure shall apply in place of supplementary examinations:

1. Students with 1 or 2 trail courses:
Courses shall be added to your regular semester registration and written during End of Semester Exams.

2. Students with more than 2 trail courses:
You can register a maximum of 2 trail courses per semester. Any extra courses will be carried to subsequent semesters until cleared.
KNUST 2026/2027 ADMISSION

KNUST admission forms for Undergraduate and Top-Up programmes (2026/2027) are now available.

Buy from authorised banks, selected post offices, or via Mobile Money by dialling *415*55#.

Following numerous complaints from students and parents, the Rent Control Department has directed private hostel operators not to increase hostel charges for the 2026/2027 academic year pending discussions.
📌 How to Pay KNUST Academic Fees via *776*124# momo method

1. Dial *776*124# on your phone.
2. Select “Academic Fees” from the menu.
3. You will be asked to enter your Student ID – this ID can be found on your admission letter
4. Enter the amount you are supposed to pay.
5. Choose Mobile Money as your payment option (MTN, Vodafone, etc.).
6. Confirm the details (check your name and amount carefully).
7. You will receive a prompt on your phone to enter your Mobile Money PIN
8. Enter your PIN to complete the transaction.

After Payment:
- You’ll get a confirmation SMS* with your payment details.
- Save the payment reference/transaction ID
- Your fees will reflect in your KNUST student portal shortly after.

NB:Make sure your MoMo wallet has enough funds before starting the process.

Higher Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

Application E-vouchers for Postgraduate, Undergraduate, and Top-Up programmes of study at KNUST for the 2026/2027 academic year are now on sale.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Applicants for admission to research and higher degree programmes (MSc/MEd/MArch/MFA/MA/MComm/MBA/MPA/MPH/LLM/MPhil/ PhD/EdD)

NOTE:
Prospective applicants should purchase an e-Voucher containing Login ID/Serial Number and PIN for GHȼ350.00 at the following banks: GCB Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) or Ecobank or dial *885# on all networks and follow the prompts.

Applicants should then proceed to the online admissions portal via: https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/apply and begin the application process.

The deadline for the sale of forms and completion of online application is September 30, 2026.
