MANDATORY MEDICAL EXAMINATION FOR KNUST FRESHERS.

All first-year students must undergo medical examinations as part of the registration process upon their arrival on campus. The schedule will be announced by KNUST.

Wilkado Hostel Accommodation Portal Opens

The Wilkado Hostel accommodation portal opens on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025 at 9:00am.
The hostel is on campus, self-contained, and reserved for first-year students.

The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), under the Ministry of Education, has begun accepting applications from first-year students in public tertiary institutions.

You have 25 Days more lecture days to begin the Mid Semester Examination of the First Semester of the KNUST 2025/2026 Academic Year.

The Artificial Intelligence course, AI 150: Fundamentals of Responsible AI for All will be available on your VClass effective MONDAY, 19TH JANUARY 2026 for all students who have registered for the course.

Limited vacancies in selected programmes exist for qualified applicants. Kindly log onto your application portal with your email and password and select a program for instant admission.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology will hold a virtual matriculation ceremony for all fresh students as scheduled:

KNUST Mid-Semester Examinations will commence on Monday, 23rd February 2026.

Students are strongly advised to complete their Course registration and Biometric verification before the examination period begins.

The KNUST Library Mall & Main Library will now operate until 10:00 PM from Monday, 17th February to Friday, 27th February 2026 in support of academic activities during the Mid-Semester Examinations.

Students are encouraged to make good use of the extended hours—study smart and give it your best.

All KNUST student should take note, Supplementary exams will not be held for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 Academic year. Wish you all the best in your mid semester exams.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Academic Board has approved the 2026/2027 Academic Calendar.

As part of measures to revert to the old academic calendar, Supplementary Examinations will not be held for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 Academic Years.

A special dispensation allows students with up to two (2) trails to add them to their regular semester workload.

We urge full cooperation to ensure a smooth transition.
