As you can see in the chart above, the total market cap of Altcoins (excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum) has reached 1 trillion dollars. At the same time Bitcoin dominance continues its downward trend, now at 56.3% 📉

Last week, altcoins faced a notable pullback and memes has been also suffering for weeks, as Bitcoin has been sucking up all the liquidity. However, what many missed is that we hit the 2021 high - a significant resistance point that historically triggered 20-30% corrections for most altcoins ❗️

Back in March 2024, when Bitcoin hit a new all-time high, it spent six full months consolidating in a huge bull flag formation. I believe that a similar pattern is unfolding right now and a consolidation phase is under way ✅

However, this consolidation won’t signal the start of the long awaited, coveted alt season everybody is waiting for 👀
