BEFORE SLEEPING, KNOW THIS...

Wearing a simple saree, she walks onto a football field every day...not to watch the game, but to shape futures.
In a small village in Bankura, West Bengal, Bharati Mudi has spent the last 17 years COACHING tribal girls in football.... WITHOUT CHARGING A SINGLE RUPEE. She never got the opportunity to pursue her own dream of becoming a footballer. So she turned her dream into a mission.
Today, more than 18 of her students have gone on to represent West Bengal

BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...
Finding treasure in waste sounds impossible. Unless you're Pankaj Raidongia. For 12 years, he designed luxury store displays in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. Stable salary. Corporate life. Then Covid arrived and he moved to his village in Assam.
Back home, he found his canvas in driftwood..... old branches and tree trunks abandoned by rivers. Where others saw it as Waste Wood, he saw masterpieces waiting to emerge. He began turning nature's discarded wood into sculptures and handcrafted mementoes, giving every piece a second life. His work is now popular across organisations, institutions and cultural events.
His work now employs 12 plus families and has turned his quite village into a destination for handcrafted excellence.

Studying through distance education while managing family responsibilities, Priya Natarajan who was married at just age 16... kept moving forward until one day, she had a choice many dream of—a government job.
She walked away from it.
Instead, she started an online coaching academy with just 73 students. Four years later, over 8,000 aspirants have enrolled, and nearly 3,000 have secured government jobs.
Her mission didn't stop at coaching. She donated her own land to build a village library, inspired 1,000 young readers to join it, funded the education of 100 underprivileged children, and placed 97 sewing machines in the hands of women determined to rebuild their lives.

These girls are preparing for NEET. They are a part of Sadhana program run by RSS inspired Rashtrotthana.

It makes me feel so happy to see these kinds of GenZ girls. Future Doctors!

They make their families and teachers very proud 🙌
Unlike some we saw at Jantar Mantar.

Hidden inside a modest room in Chizami lies a collection of over 200 indigenous seed varieties of Rice, Millets, pulses, vegetables.. more valuable than Gold !
Instead of buying new seeds every season, the community created a living seed bank. Farmers borrow traditional seeds, grow them, and return double the quantity after harvest. Managed largely by women since 2018, the collection has quietly grown into one of Northeast India's finest examples of preserving biodiversity, food security and farming heritage.

Software engineer Ashok Padapati made an unusual request to his friends: "Will you donate just 0.5% of your monthly salary?" Chilar.... everyone said YES..
That small monthly contribution was helped identify talented students from government schools, provide scholarships, pay college fees, buy books, arrange coaching & support hostel expenses for poor underpriviledged students. Over time, more than 500 underprivileged students from rural Andhra Pradesh received help to stay in school and pursue higher education.
Years later, some of those students have reached IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IISc Bengaluru, became Chartered Accountants, doctors, and government officers. Even more remarkable, many of them are now helping another generation of students

Just a decade ago, Kaziranga was losing 27 rhinos every year to poaching.
Then, IFS officer Sandeep Kumar and his team changed the rules of the game...... Drones began scanning the skies. Thermal cameras watched through the night. Villagers became the eyes and ears of the forest. Intelligence flowed between forest guards and the police, and organised gangs found themselves being tracked long before they reached a rhino.
The result? In 2022, Kaziranga recorded zero rhino poaching for the first time in 45 years. The same remarkable achievement was repeated in 2025..

Can two people with a few garbage bags clean a riverbank that thousands had polluted for years?
When complaints to authorities brought no change, 23-year-old Akash Yadav and his friend Rohan Dev stopped waiting. Every weekend, they collected plastic waste from roads, ponds and even the sacred Ganga ghats. They would return the next weekend... and the weekend after that.
Gradually, more and more youngsters joined them. What began with two friends grew into a 15-member movement. Together, they revived four Ganga ghats, removed over one tonne of plastic waste, restored ponds, and planted 1,000 trees
