Google just added an AI video editor inside Google Photos - and it's actually incredible. 🎬

It's called Google Video Remix - launched July 8, available now for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers.

Open any video in Google Photos, describe what you want changed, and Gemini does it. Relight the scene. Swap the background. Apply cinematic styles. Fix the color. All from a text description inside an app already on your phone.

No CapCut. No Premiere. No switching apps. Just your video and a prompt.

"Creating beautiful video clips shouldn't require professional skills or hours of editing." That's how Google described it. For once the marketing actually matches the product.

Runs on Google Photos. If you have a Google AI subscription - it's already there.

BEFORE SLEEPING... KNOW THIS...

He was so poor that he couldn't afford to learn the art he loved. So every evening, he secretly watched rehearsals from a distance... and after everyone left, he practised alone, repeating every dialogue, every movement, and every musical note from memory.

His name is Simanchal Patra from Odisha. As a young boy, he herded goats just to earn one meal a day. Yet he went on to master the rare Prahlada Nataka, performing for up to 24 hours at a stretch and training hundreds of artists. To keep the dying art alive, he even sacrificed his ancestral property.

This year, at the age of 98, Simanchal Patra walked into Rashtrapati Bhavan to receive the Padma Shri.

They trekked 38 kilometres through steep mountains, rocky trails, and high-altitude terrain... carrying vaccine boxes on their backs. They walked for nearly 10 hours, spent the night in a remote settlement, and walked all the way back. Their mission? Just a few drops of medicine.

In Jammu & Kashmir's Gurez Valley, health workers Bashir Ahmad Teroo, Shams Din Nasir, and ASHA worker Rubina made the difficult journey to reach nomadic Gujjar and Bakarwal families who had no access to healthcare. They vaccinated around 30 children against polio and also examined patients, distributing medicines to families living far from the nearest health facility.
Just three health workers who refused to let mountains decide whether a child received life-saving vaccines

Burj Khalifa isn’t among the world’s 7 most expensive buildings!

Topping the list is Hudson Yards in New York City, valued at a jaw-dropping USD 25 billion (approx. ₹2,08,000 crore — that’s ₹2,08,00,00,00,000!) 😮

Located on Manhattan’s West Side, Hudson Yards is the most expensive private real estate development in U.S. history. It’s not just one building but a mega project with 16 structures — including luxury apartments, office spaces, a shopping mall, and even an arts center.

The Most Expensive Vegetable: Nature's Hidden Treasure
Putu, the priciest vegetable in India, costs more than chicken and paneer. This superfood mushroom, rich in protein and vitamins, grows under Sal trees in Chhattisgarh's rainy season. Local villagers dig it up from the forest floor and sell it in markets. Dieticians recommend Putu for weight balance.

Spain is now the FIFA World Cup champion... and their players were rewarded with TOMATOES !!
A player weighing 71 kg received 71 kg of tomatoes. Another weighing 83 kg took home 83 kg. The goalkeeper, close to 90 kg, walked away with nearly 90 kg of tomatoes.
Every champion received depending on their WEIGHT.
The reason lies in Spain's local tradition.

Elephants are afraid of this animal, but it’s not ants... It’s bees!

It sounds strange, but elephants in the wild often flee at the sound of a bee’s buzzing. While a bee sting can't penetrate an elephant’s thick skin, it can still cause serious damage. Bees target sensitive areas like the trunk, mouth, and eyes, causing intense pain.
In fact, some farmers have started using bees to keep elephants away from their crops

Every year over 20 lakh students appear for one exam that decides whether they become a doctor in India. It is called NEET, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The National Testing Agency, India's government body responsible for conducting national level entrance examinations, runs it.

This year the paper leaked.

May 3rd the exam was conducted. Within 4 days the National Testing Agency itself identified that fraud had taken place. They did not wait for someone to expose them. They found it, reported it to the police immediately and a criminal investigation was launched.

Within 10 days the government cancelled the entire exam.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan held a press conference on May 15th. He apologised publicly to every student who had appeared. He took full moral responsibility. And on the same day he announced the re-exam dates and a permanent solution. All future national examinations would shift to computer-based encrypted testing, making the kind of physical paper leak that happened on May 3rd structurally impossible going forward.

Re-exam was conducted on June 21st. Results were published on July 16th. CBI arrested 13 criminals directly involved in the leak.

44 days from fraud to fresh results. Systemic reform built in. Culprits in custody.

Now here is the question nobody covering the protest is asking directly.

After all of that, what exactly is the Cockroach movement demanding?

Not a better solution. Computer based testing was already announced. Not accountability. The minister accepted full public responsibility before any protest began. Not justice. 13 people are already arrested.

The only demand is that Dharmendra Pradhan must resign.

The minister who caught the fraud fastest, apologised first, delivered the re-exam, published results and introduced permanent reform must be removed for doing all of those things.

The students whose exam was leaked were sitting their re-examination while this protest was building momentum around their pain. A meme page needed relevance. NEET provided the entry point. When momentum faded Sonam Wangchuk became the new face. The argument did not get stronger. The platform got louder.

Paper leaks in India are a genuine and serious problem. They deserved a permanent solution.

They got one.

This protest is no longer about students.

BEFORE SLEEPING, KNOW THIS...
In Ahmedabad Every day, Pankajbhai Rawal & wife Geetaben lifts 60 kg garment bundles to earn a living. They are daily wage labourers. Yet after returning home, instead of resting, they begin another shift. From their own kitchen, they cook fresh food for 200–300 fellow workers. No NGO. No donations. No sponsors. Just their own hard-earned savings.
The meal costs only ₹5. Not because they need the money. Because they don't want anyone to feel they are eating charity. Every day the menu changes. Once a month, there's even a sweet dish. Their day starts at 6 AM and often ends at 10 PM.

Every morning, before Bengaluru wakes up, BMTC driver Krishnamurthy, after reporting for duty at Depot-33, he carries around 10 freshly packed breakfast packets on his bus. As he drives from Uttarahalli to Majestic, he looks beyond bus stops and passengers, searching for homeless people, elderly destitute individuals, and anyone who may have slept hungry. Before his first trip ends, every packet has reached someone in need.
The money doesn't come from an NGO or a fundraiser. It comes from Krishnamurthy's own salary. He says he doesn't do it for recognition. He is doing since Covid
