BEFORE SLEEPING... KNOW THIS...

Every season, lush green fields bloom under the open sky. Watermelons ripen. Tomato plants flourish. Yet the man who grows them has never seen a single leaf, flower, or fruit.

His name is Pramod Singh, a farmer from Bihar. He is completely blind. Still, he walks through his fields every day, gently running his fingers over leaves, stems, and soil. A single touch tells him whether a plant is healthy, thirsty, or needs attention. Over the years, his fingers have become his eyes.

While many farmers are leaving agriculture, Pramod invested nearly ₹5 lakh in watermelon cultivation and expects profits of around ₹10 lakh this season. His children study in CBSE schools, agriculture experts visit his farm to understand his methods, and farmers across Bihar are returning to their fields after seeing his success.

At an age when most people struggle to walk across a room, 102 year old Resham devi (Jaipur) wakes up every morning and serves every traveller with a smile & a glass of water.
She lost her husband over 55 years ago, was left to raise three young children alone, moved cities in search of work, and fought every hardship until her children could stand on their own feet.
Today, railway employees, office workers, and passersby stop to have their thirst quenched by 102 year old Amma."

He was welcomed with flowers when he entered the examination hall. Not because he was the chief guest... but because, at 75 years of age, he had come to write another university exam.
Already holding 32 degrees, Phd Holder Milkhi Ram from Himachal appeared for IGNOU's Acharya (MA Sanskrit) examination.
He began working in the Forest Department in 1972, retired as a Grade-I officer, and still never stopped studying. By the time he retired, he had earned 26 degrees !!
The teachers honoured him as the oldest student at the centre. What impresses the teachers most is Milkhi Ram's curiosity even at this age. Bravo !!

BEFORE SLEEPING... KNOW THIS...

In the 18th century, King Gustav III of Sweden was convinced that coffee was poisonous. To prove it, he ordered a strange experiment. Two identical twins sentenced to death had their punishment changed to life imprisonment. One had to drink three pots of coffee every day. The other, three pots of tea.

Two doctors were appointed to monitor them. But before the experiment could end, both doctors died... and King Gustav III himself was assassinated. The tea-drinking twin lived to 83. The coffee-drinking twin lived 1 year longer.

He sold his family land. He sold his wife's mangalsutra. His daughters played national tournaments wearing the same torn football shoes, stitched again and again by a cobbler. Yet he never stopped coaching.

Opening a football academy in his son's name, he dedicated his life to nurturing young talent. Over the last three decades, he has produced 15 national-level footballers, including 12 girls, while his own daughters won national medals despite severe financial hardship.

Google just added an AI video editor inside Google Photos - and it's actually incredible. 🎬

It's called Google Video Remix - launched July 8, available now for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers.

Open any video in Google Photos, describe what you want changed, and Gemini does it. Relight the scene. Swap the background. Apply cinematic styles. Fix the color. All from a text description inside an app already on your phone.

No CapCut. No Premiere. No switching apps. Just your video and a prompt.

"Creating beautiful video clips shouldn't require professional skills or hours of editing." That's how Google described it. For once the marketing actually matches the product.

Runs on Google Photos. If you have a Google AI subscription - it's already there.

BEFORE SLEEPING... KNOW THIS...

He was so poor that he couldn't afford to learn the art he loved. So every evening, he secretly watched rehearsals from a distance... and after everyone left, he practised alone, repeating every dialogue, every movement, and every musical note from memory.

His name is Simanchal Patra from Odisha. As a young boy, he herded goats just to earn one meal a day. Yet he went on to master the rare Prahlada Nataka, performing for up to 24 hours at a stretch and training hundreds of artists. To keep the dying art alive, he even sacrificed his ancestral property.

This year, at the age of 98, Simanchal Patra walked into Rashtrapati Bhavan to receive the Padma Shri.
