Badri Mishra is a writer, environmentalist, tireless blood donor but we need to salute him for something else.
He has performed 1200 cremations for the abandoned and unclaimed.
His two-wheeler always carries white cloth and cremation essentials, because he never knows when the next call for help will come.
From the 1999 Odisha Supercyclone to the Gujarat and Nepal earthquakes, Mishra has crossed state and national borders to give the dead a rest with dignity.
Refusing money, he funds every ritual himself.

BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...

For just Rs.100 fees, 61-year-old furniture shop owner Saji Valasseril from Aluva (Kerala) has taught more than 15,000 people how to swim—including children, senior citizens, and differently-abled individuals aged 3 to 80!

Saji was deeply affected after tragic boat accidents claimed several young lives. Instead of moving on, he turned his pain into a mission. He started conducting swimming classes in the Periyar River, charging just ₹100 to cover basic safety arrangements.

Today, his unique river-based swimming school has helped protect thousands of lives and earned recognition from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mann Ki Baat.

AMBULANCE for dolphins! ??
Yes... India launched its first-ever Dolphin Rescue Ambulance under the Namami Gange Mission. Equipped with oxygen support, special stretchers, and rescue equipment, it works like a mobile hospital for endangered Gangetic dolphins.

Dolphins often get trapped in canals, injured, or cut off from rivers. Earlier, many would die without timely help. Recently, a dolphin stranded in a canal in Uttar Pradesh was rescued after 13 hours of effort, treated, and safely released back into the Rapti River.

So far, this unique ambulance has already saved 8 dolphin

Modern Countries & Their Old Names
A sweet made from tree branches?
Yes, you read that right. In Sambalpur, Odisha, a centuries-old secret called Sarasatiya is crafted from the branches of a forest tree—not from flour or sugarcane.
For over 160 years, only one family has preserved this unique recipe, passing it down through five generations. Originally a medicinal preparation, it has now become a cultural gem. Prabhulal Gupta, fondly known as Minchu Kaka, continues this tradition, selling over 600 pieces daily for just Rs 12 each.
Despite rising costs, the family refuses to increase the price, as Sarasatiya is not merely a sweet—it represents Sambalpur’s soul and enduring pride.

BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...
At the Olympics, champion Maya Reyes did something unusual — she gave her gold medal away.
Years earlier, when she had no money for training, a school janitor named Evelyn Carter secretly opened a small storage room after hours so the young girl could practise. No spotlight. Just quiet belief.
Years later, standing on the Olympic podium, Maya handed the gold medal to the janitor who believed first.

VERY SAD FACTS ABOUT MEN:

1. Men are loved for what they provide, not for who they are. When they stop providing, love starts disappearing.

2. Men are taught to stay silent, not to heal. So they bleed quietly and call it strength.

3. A man's tears are respected less than his success. Pain gets ignored. Money gets applause.

4. Most men have no emotional backup plan. When life hits hard, they face it alone.

5. Men remember one compliment for years-because they rarely get any. Silence is more common than appreciation.

6. Men break mentally long before they admit it. By the time they speak, it's already too late.

7. When a man says "I'm tired,' he is not asking for rest-he is asking to be understood.
