BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...

In 1965, India was fighting a war with Pakistan… and at the same time facing a terrible food crisis. America had stopped wheat shipments. India did not have enough food for its own people.

Then Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri made an emotional appeal:
“Skip one meal a week for the nation.”

And something unbelievable happened.

Hotels shut on Monday evenings. Families across India voluntarily skipped dinner. Restaurants served no food. Rich and poor followed the same rule. There was no social media. No internet. No forcing. Only trust, sacrifice and unity.

India’s famous RED postbox was actually GREEN!
When the British introduced postboxes in India during the 1800s, they painted them green.
Problem? People couldn’t spot them among trees and bushes!
So in 1874, Britain changed them to bright red so nobody would miss them — and India followed. Sometimes, one small color change can improve an entire system for millions of people.

BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...

In Uttar Pradesh, 21-year-old Aakash Gupta got tired of waiting for “someone” to clean the polluted Manorama River. So he started alone. For 39 straight days, he and a small group of local youths removed over 500 kg of plastic, clothes, and waste from the river using simple sacks and manual effort.

At first, people laughed at the idea. But slowly, the water became cleaner… and even animals started returning to the riverbanks again.
