Leadership is not about waiting for a crisis to arrive. It’s about preparing the nation before it does.

At a time of global uncertainty, PM Modi appealed to citizens to reduce unnecessary dependence on foreign imports and use resources responsibly.

Yet, some people are busy spreading propaganda, instead of understanding the larger economic picture.

This is not the first time leaders have asked citizens to practice collective restraint for the nation:

* 1965 — PM Shastri urged Indians to skip one meal a week
* 1973 — Japan reduced oil dependence and strengthened manufacturing
* 1991 — India airlifted gold during an economic crisis
* 1998 — South Koreans donated gold to support their economy

History proves that nations become stronger when citizens act together during challenging times.

Fake narratives, facts must be checked first.

Uttarakhand (Jaunsar Bawar region) — when weddings across India are becoming ₹20 lakh–₹2 crore events filled with show, loans, and pressure… one village quietly chose a completely different path.

In Kharsi village, 5 brides didn’t wait at decorated halls—they led their own wedding processions to a single house under a tradition called *Jojora*, where all rituals happen together… no lavish venues, no alcohol, no expensive jewellery, no burden on the bride’s family.

One house. Multiple weddings. Shared costs. Shared responsibility. It’s a powerful rejection of wasteful spending that pushes families into debt…

Barmer, Rajasthan — where summer temperatures cross 45°C and water itself becomes scarce… birds struggle silently, often collapsing mid-flight in search of a single sip.

In this same harsh land, at Anju Kanwar’s wedding, her uncle Narpat Singh Rajpurohit—known as the “Greenman”—replaced dowry with 501 earthen water pots, each meant to be filled daily so birds can survive the heat.

And this wasn’t symbolic—the groom, the entire wedding procession, and both families took a pledge to refill them regularly, turning one wedding into a daily act of responsibility… some weddings don’t just unite people, they quietly save lives.

During the 1965 war, Pakistan had advanced US-made Patton tanks. But they were heavy & bulky.

Indian Lt. Gen. Gurbaksh Singh cleverly flooded sugarcane fields. The enemy tanks got stuck in mud — India destroyed over 💥100 Patton tanks while losing just 10.

That battlefield was later called "Patton Nagar" — a tribute to Indian strategy & bravery! 🙏👏

A united India deserves uniform infrastructure. Today, we take a defining step:
One nation, one open EV charging network. ⚡️🇮🇳

India is wisely replicating the UPI model to electric mobility. A unified national network for EV charging, i.e. any vehicle, any operator, any station.

Under the ₹10,900 crore PM E-DRIVE scheme, India is targeting over 72,000+ public charging points network.

This will eliminate fragmentation and accelerate adoption across the country.

With BHEL developing the digital backbone and seamless payments, range anxiety will soon be a thing of the past, especially for 2W and 3W segments.

This is pragmatic statesmanship, building inclusive infrastructure that serves every Indian citizen.

The future of clean, self-reliant India is being built today.

Utqiagvik in Alaska will now not see NIGHT for the next 84 straight days

And during winter? The same town experiences around 67 days without seeing the Sun at all.

This happens because Earth is tilted at 23.5°. During summer, the Arctic side keeps facing the Sun continuously — creating the famous “Midnight Sun”. During winter, the same region turns away from sunlight completely, creating “Polar Night”.

Our planet is far stranger, more extreme, and more beautiful than most realise.
