Pooja Sharma finds purpose in helping others—even strangers. Since 2022, she has performed last rites for more than 4,000 unclaimed bodies, giving dignity to the forgotten.
Her kindness goes further. After the rites, Pooja collects the ashes and travels to Haridwar every Amavasya (new moon), immersing them in the Ganga so each soul finds peace.

A unique wedding helped the environment by preventing 350 kg of waste from reaching landfills—and avoiding nearly 7,000 disposable items.
But this didn’t come easy. Shubha, the groom’s mother, had to push through vendor resistance, convenience-driven choices, and the typical “big fat wedding” expectations and the usual “this is how weddings are done” mindset. She went ahead and chose banana leaves and steel cutlery over plastic.
With support from Greenmyna, every detail demanded effort—digital invites instead of paper, strict waste segregation, composting leftovers, and reusing kitchen scraps.
This wedding proved that conscious choices can protect the planet.

🌾 Why ethanol blending is a problem
Producing 1 litre of ethanol from rice requires ~10,790 litres of water, making it one of the most water‑intensive fuel sources.
Sugarcane and maize also consume thousands of litres per litre of ethanol.
Ethanol mills generate wastewater (vinasse) that can pollute groundwater if not treated.

BEFORE SLEEPING KNOW THIS...
At 86, Anusuya Bai Wadekar from a small village in Maharashtra held a pen for an exam she never got to write as a child as education stayed out of reach.
Her grandson started teaching her at home and support from local educators under the ULLAS literacy mission, she finally sat for a formal exam, along with 3,700+ others once called “illiterate"
At 86, she can now read, write, sign her own name, and understand the world around her..something she was denied for 8 decades.

With just 102 homes and barely any government support, Shelkewadi had every reason to be forgotten. But the villagers thought differently.
Today, every house runs on solar power, and the entire village—from schools to streetlights—is energy self-sufficient. Even sanitation here is powered by biogas. And the most eye-catching detail? All the homes are painted pink—a bold statement of unity.
From obscurity to becoming India’s first fully solar-powered village...
Shelkewadi isn’t just bright—it shines with purpose.

In Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, an ordinary evening turned into chaos when a house caught fire. Flames spread fast, smoke filled the rooms, and panic took over as cries for help grew louder.
In that moment, an 11-year-old boy, Pradeep Yadav, didn’t think about fear or safety. He acted. He ran into the burning house, not once but multiple times...again and again...pulling children out and guiding them to safety.
By the time help arrived, he had saved 18 lives. For this extraordinary courage, Pradeep was honoured with the National Bravery Award

Instead of gold, music, and lavish feasts, for his wedding,
Chandrapur Farmer Shrikant and his bride Anjali opted for a Satyashodhak marriage—no dowry, no glamour
They used this saved money to build a much-needed Road in their village, easing the burden for farmers who once carried seed bags on their backs.

In Faridabad, people were throwing away unused medicines… while thousands couldn’t afford basic treatment.
Meenu saw this gap & started collecting leftover medicines door-to-door, checking expiry, and giving them free to the needy.
6 years later.....
A full MEDICINE BANK is running. Doctors are supporting it. Medicines are coming even from abroad.
And 1000s of patients have received treatment at 0 cost.

Chittorgarh, Rajasthan — when weddings today cross ₹1–₹5 crore, Ayushi & Nikhil chose a gaushala over a luxury venue.
On April 18, at Shri Mahavir Gaushala (Chikarada), with a wedding procession arriving from Nathdwara, they got married inside a COW SHELTER, amidst cows and Vedic chants—inspired by spiritual guidance of Dhirendra Shastri.
56 varieties of food—Chhappan Bhog—were lovingly prepared, arranged like an offering of abundance, and served first to the cows.
