More than 250,000 people paid their last respects to Pope Francis over three days of public viewing by ordinary mourners, church and political leaders that ended Friday, when his coffin was sealed ahead of his state funeral in St. Peter's Square and burial in a basilica outside the Vatican's walls.

Heavy Downpours Worsen Collapsed Road Conditions
Heavy downpours of rain caused havoc to the livelihoods of people along a collapsed road in Phnom Penh’s Stueng Mean Chey​ II, Mean Chey district.
The heavy rains on the evening of 26 April, 2025, caused the road to become more damaged due to the strong water flow.
The road collapsed on September 23, 2024, severely impacting businesses and transportation in the area. Since December, the road has remained under reconstruction.
