Eid in the Park - Family Day

Eid salaat starts promptly at 10.15 am followed by the Eid khutbah by Sulayman Van Ael.

This will take place on either 4th or 5th June 2019 depending on sighting of moon for Eid.

The KMA announcement will be made after Maghreb salaat on 29th Ramadaan (Monday 3rd June 2019) on the Kingston Mosque website, Mobile app, Facebook page and Telegram channel.

Parking available in the Stadium. Please arrive early and park with consideration.

Message to all attending the Eid salaat:
There will be plastic sheeting to cover the ground but please bring your own prayer mat and stool/ chair if required.

There will be some chairs for the elderly but we cannot gurantee enough for everyone who needs one.

You may also bring your picnic blanket.

Food stalls will be available:
- Cakes
- Moroccan Sweets
- Halwa puri
- Burgers
- Kebabs
- Popcorn
- Candy floss
- Tea / Coffee
- Juices and drinks
- A sweet stall especially for the children

Come and enjoy the day with family and friends.

There will be fairground rides for children (carousel, soft play centre, bungee trampolines, tea cup rides and mini bumper cars).

For anyone not able to attend the Eid in the Park salaat, there will be one Eid prayer held at Kingston Masjid at 0700 in the morning.

Please note the prayer will start at 0700 promptly.

KMA Eid ul-Fitr Announcement 2019 AD / 1440 AH

Tuesday 4 June 2019 is the day of Eid ul-Fitr and the 1st of Shawwal 1440 Hijri.

We would like to wish all the Muslims peace, blessings and happiness for this day and may Allah accept all our deeds.

Please note:

There will be an early Eid prayer in Kingston mosque at 0700 sharp with Mufti Anwar.

The Eid in the park Family Day at Kingsmeadow will hold the main Eid prayer at 1015 am promptly.

The new moon has been sighted and this marks the beginning of the month of Dhul Hijjah. Therefore, the following dates are confirmed:

1st Dhul Hijjah - Friday 2nd August
Day of 'Arafah - Saturday 10th August
#Eid al-Adha - Sunday 11th August
