Security & judicial authorities must investigate & uncover any negligence or deliberate act in this event and follow up in accordance with regulations

Following the tragic fire at Bandar Abbas’ Shahid Rajai Port, Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a message of condolence to the bereaved families. He directed security officials and judicial authorities to thoroughly investigate and uncover any negligence or deliberate acts that have caused this tragedy and to follow up in accordance with the country’s regulations.
The text of the Leader’s message is as follows:


In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

"Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return" (Quran 2:156).
The tragic fire in the Shahid Rajai Port has caused grief and concern. It is the duty of security officials and judicial authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to detect if there's been any negligence or deliberate acts that have caused this and to follow this up according to regulations. All officials must know it's their duty to prevent bitter, damaging events.

I pray for God's mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, for patience and calm for their grieving families, and for a swift recovery for those injured in this tragic event. I sincerely thank the generous people who were ready to donate blood for the injured at a time of need.

🕋 Iran's #Hajj officials to meet with Imam Khamenei on Sunday

On the eve of the grand Abrahamic Hajj Congress, officials from the Office of the Leader’s Hajj Affairs, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, as well as a group of Hajj organizers and pilgrims of the Holy Kaaba from our country will meet with Imam Khamenei on the morning of Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah.

Every year, on Labor Day and Teacher's Day, a group of workers and teachers from across the country meet with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. However, this year, these dates coincide with the beginning of the pilgrims’ departure to the Holy Land. Therefore, Hajj officials will first be hosted at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah and Imam Khamenei’s meetings with workers and teachers will take place at a later date, by the end of May.
