Knowing how to act quickly and calmly in emergencies makes a big difference

First aid also involves helping people who suffer from heat exhaustion, poisoning, or allergic reactions. In such cases, giving the correct first aid at the right time can prevent serious complications and save lives. Another important part of first aid is treating choke, which may happen after severe injury or blood loss. The injured person should be kept warm and calm until medical help arrives.
