Finally, the 7.0 Night drive release is here!

We got some things to tell you about this release, it's a very special thing for us.

First of all, our stable source is back on our main org:

UPDATE:

This repo has now moved to our Extras repo, where we have our XDA Thread template and other things like banners, wallpapers and logos to use in any media you want to do with bootleg :)

HEADS UP

We're working on merging march SP, which is a very huge patch, so it might take some time, hope we can merge it before the april sp comes out lmao

But we'll let you know when things are ready

We're close to push everything to main, we forgot about the launcher, but its getting ready 😎

Finally, our 7.1 release is here!

It's a number bump after a heavy security patch, but it's ready to go for everybody!

UPDATE AND STATEMENT REGARDING THE CURRENT SOURCE SITUATION

We were talking with our source maintainers and we came to the conclusion that it's a bit... Unnecesary to start working fully on restoring our sources when A14 it's BEHIND US WATCH OUT (jk it's around the corner) so, we'll lay low and do things on the brokenlab, but as soon as A14 gets pushed and we get some devices booting up, we'll start working on the source.

Sorry for letting you all down. We will do our best when Upside Down Crust comes out.

First device to boot!
(Still a WIP, but we're getting there)

The lab is (mostly) up for testing!

We're still needing some things to be done to support devices (and other issues, like prebuilt apps and more) but we will start accepting maintainers soon, or if you want to help us to maintain the source, thats helpful too! Check the following post for more info.

Also, new wallpaper that brings up the spirit of this current release. This is just the beginning.

Looks like (according to a documented screenshot dated November 25, 2017) this project is now 6 years old. WHAT? 🎉🎉🎉Happy Birthday Bootleggers!🎉🎉🎉

Personally I want to thank to all the maintainers that gave us support thoughtout the years, the people who helped in the source too (some special mentions like merothh, people from the nugtowers community, and now our current maintainers that are really working hard to make things fun in a bootleg way :D) and the people who still use our project to this day (or even having our silly things picked, who could even thought one of our little ideas ended up in Android 14). So this is a thanks to you all.

On another note, I want to remind people that currently, our pre-release code is being worked on our Broken Lab! You can send us patches or see our current state there. We'll start adding features soon, but reports about missing support from devices are accepted. Same as device maintainers.
