KernelSU: A New Root Solution
KernelSU is a root solution for Android GKI devices that works in kernel mode and grants root permission to userspace application directly in kernel space. It has a module system based on overlayfs and officially supports Android GKI 2.0 devices (with kernel 5.10+), old kernels (4.14+) is also compatible, but you need to build the kernel yourself. The wider compatibility is a prime factor, as every Android device launching with kernel 5.10 or later will be able to use KernelSU officially.
