Fox Ratings Fall Though The Floor Following Firing Of Tucker Carlson

The network’s 8 pm slot used to gain a 3m viewer average - but since the host departed, that’s dropped to 1.65m, with viewers not keen on temporary replacement Brian Kilmeade.

Elsewhere in the day, ratings in the critical 25-54 demographic have fallen off a cliff. Slots between 6 pm and 11 pm ET have dropped 42% and 75% in the key demographic.

Newsweek highlighted that as much as a third of Fox’s audience could follow Carlson wherever he ends up, and “sixteen percent of Americans would be ‘significantly likely” to watch Tucker on an independent online show.
