*Pune's Zero Shadow Day*
🌞📍📐📏

Pune is going to enjoy a Zero Shadow Day on *13th May* as Sun comes exactly overhead at local noon on this day. We have organised an open event to celebrate this annual phenomenon. Entry free to all. No pre-registration required.

It's a great learning opportunity involving a live demo and expert commentary. Also, there's a good chance we'll get to witness a high number of sunspots that have emerged due to Sun being near the peak of its 11-year magnetic activity cycle.

Please forward this to your contacts, especially to school kids.

Date - Tuesday, 13th May 2025
Time - 12 noon to 1 PM
Venue - JVP office, Tilak Smarak Mandir, Tilak Road

Regards,
Team JVP
[Hello everyone!
We are approaching our सहस्रचंद्रदर्शन meaning 1000(moon tithis) lunar months since our Foundation and for that we plan to celebrate it by sharing the various personal anecdotes related to JVP as well as old photos over social media channels like Twitter, facebook or instagram and tag JVP. This is so that all the new members will get to know about other members spread across the world and it will also become a permanent archive of the people of JVP, it's events and also some good interesting stories around it.

For those who are interested in writing blogs we would love to archive those on the new JVP website too that will be released on 30th of May.

Meanwhile requesting you all to put together your photos, memories and stories of JVP and related events and any other fun anecdotes that we can collate and read.
We all can start posting those 29th May onwards over social media. And we would love to compile all of those on our website later as an archive as well as other blogs that members would contribute.
