β οΈ Apple stops signing iOS versions for several older iPhones and iPads. π
Today, Apple has begun unsigning old iOS versions for legacy devices:
π« iOS 10.3.3/10.3.4 has been unsigned for the iPhone 5C.
This means the you can't restore anymore via iTunes/Finder/3utools below device.
iPhone 5c (GSM)/(CDMA) (iPhone5,3)/(iPhone5,4)
10.3.3/10.3.4 IPSW
iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular (iPad2,6)
8.4.1 OTA
9.3.5/9.3.6 IPSW
iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G (CDMA) (iPad2,3)
6.1.3 OTA
8.4.1 OTA
9.3.5/9.3.6 IPSW
iPhone 5 (CDMA) (iPhone5,2)
10.3.3/10.3.4 IPSW
8.4.1 OTA
iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM) (iPad2,7)
9.3.5/9.3.6 IPSW
8.4.1 OTA
iPhone 5 (GSM) (iPhone5,1)
10.3.3/10.3.4 IPSW
8.4.1 (OTA)
Maybe possible for some more below devices. Let's see. Not confirmed yet.
- iPhone 4S (all firmwares)
- iPad 3rd Generation (GSM) (all firmwares)
- iPad 3rd Generation (CDMA) (all firmwares)
βπ» Tip: Take care of your older cellular models more. Some Wi-Fi models still have an old trick workaround to restore them, but for cellular models, it can be done, but that will break the baseband, and it will work as a Wi-Fi device only.
Goodbye to these old devices, more e-waste now, Apple. π€¦π»

π₯Calif Shows Untethered Jailbreak of iPhone 18 Pro on iOS 27.0.1 β It Survives a Reboot : AI helps create untethered jailbreak for iOS 27.0.1:
β Calif Demonstrates Untethered iOS 27.0.1 Jailbreak on iPhone 18 Pro:
Calif researchers reportedly demonstrated an untethered jailbreak for iOS 27.0.1 running on the iPhone 18 Pro at Hexacon 2026, an offensive security conference held in Paris on October 16.
During the live demonstration, researchers rebooted the iPhone, which returned to the lock screen with the jailbreak still intact. They then unlocked the device and established an SSH session with root privileges, demonstrating persistent access without connecting the iPhone to a computer or reapplying the jailbreak manually.
The researchers reportedly used artificial intelligence to help discover the exploit chain. However, the specific vulnerabilities and technical details have not yet been disclosed.
An untethered jailbreak is particularly significant because it survives a complete reboot and automatically remains active without requiring a computer. This makes it one of the most challenging types of jailbreaks to develop on modern iPhones.
*No public jailbreak tool has been released yet.* Its compatibility with other iPhone models and iOS versions, installation requirements, and potential security implications remain unknown for now. Calif reportedly plans to publish further details later.
For now, this remains a major research demonstration rather than a jailbreak available to the public. Users should monitor future disclosures and Apple's security updates for more information.
