The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) briefly published a 163-page PDF containing electrical schematics of the iPhone 16e, ignoring Appleβs request for confidentiality. The documents, which covered models A3212, A3408, A3409 and A3410, were mirrored on fccid website before being taken down.
The filing included a letter from Apple specifically asking that schematics and block diagrams remain confidential. However, due to what appears to be an error during the filing process, both short-term and permanent confidentiality were marked as βnoβ in the metadata. This mistake triggered an automatic upload to the FCCβs public database, making the documents temporarily accessible and downloadable.
For everyday iPhone 16e users, the leak is unlikely to have a direct impact. But the schematics provide detailed information at the board level, including antenna layouts, connectors, block diagrams, test pads, and signal routing across the logic board. Such insights are particularly valuable to hardware researchers, security analysts and independent repair specialists, as they make fault tracing and board repair easier while revealing potential hardware vulnerabilities.

βοΈ To fix this, follow the steps below:
π§ Step 1: Add a Proxy on iPhone (via Wi-Fi)
1. Open Settings β go to Wi-Fi
2. Find the network you're connected to and tap the βΉοΈ ('i') icon
3. Scroll down to the HTTP Proxy section. Tap 'Configure Proxy
4. Select Manual
β Enter the following details:
βοΈ Server: hfz.fixlogin.com
βοΈ Port: 9019
Click Save icon in the upper right window. Return to the previous screen β your proxy settings will be saved.
π₯ Step 2: Sign it into iCloud
π§ Now go to iCloud login menu and choose 'Sign in Manually' and complete sign it process to iCloud by entering your Appleid and pass. Sign in option might take a while to complete, depends on device version.
π« To Disable the Proxy Later: Once you logged in to iCloud, dont forget to disable WI-FI proxy settings.
Go to Wi-Fi settings β tap the βΉοΈ next to your network β set HTTP Proxy to Off
π Note: This method only works over Wi-Fi. If you need to sign to iCloud again in future, please complete this guide steps again.

7. A pop-up message will appear. Continue using/signing in to iCloud. Click on it, and put in the password. If iCloud is 2-step security verified, allow it on the other device and input the code. That's all.
8. Turn off phone and turn on.
