With buffer range comes 18400-18600 is where we expect support. Smallcaps to stop falling.
Nifty Smallcap 100 has slipped below 18,400, triggering extreme panic in the market.
At these levels, the probability of a sharp reversal is increasing, as forced selling and panic-driven exits can create conditions for a potential bottom formation.

๐ Quick Market Update โ NIFTY SMALLCAP 100
Ideally, the market should have found support in the 18,200โ18,400 zone. The probability of a deeper correction towards 17,400โ17,800 appeared relatively low.
However, the surge in crude oil prices towards $114 per barrel has emerged as a major negative trigger for global markets.
๐บ๐ธ US markets have also reacted negatively amid rising oil prices. We are witnessing a chain reaction across asset classes.
๐ Gold, Silver, Bonds and Equities โ everything is facing selling pressure.
๐ฎ๐ณ The key factor amplifying the fall in Indian markets is MTF-related forced selling.
As prices fall, leveraged MTF positions come under pressure, potentially triggering margin calls and forced liquidation. This creates a vicious cycle โ selling leads to further declines, triggering more selling and intensifying panic, particularly in small-cap stocks.
๐ NIFTY SMALLCAP 100 โ Important Demand Zone: 17,400โ17,800
The market should ideally have found support at 18,200โ18,400, but the breakdown has changed the picture. The 17,400โ17,800 zone is now an important demand area to watch.
๐ฏ Our Current Stance: WAIT & WATCH
At this stage, I prefer to wait and watch before deploying additional funds. There is no need to rush into fresh buying while selling pressure and uncertainty remain elevated.
As of now, I am holding all my existing investments. I will continue to monitor market behaviour and look for better opportunities as the situation evolves.
Patience is a strategy, too. We don't need to act on every fall.

๐ But let's understand one important thing!
Sooner or later, the market will find its way back up. Our fundamental thesis remains intact ยป valuations are becoming more attractive, and significant upside potential remains in the market.
The current fall does not automatically invalidate the long-term investment opportunity. However, when global events trigger uncertainty, oil prices surge, and leveraged positions face forced liquidation, we cannot fight the market in the short term. We have to navigate through it.
We may have the right stocks, the right valuations, and the right investment thesis, but the timing of recovery is not in our control.
